Akron beat Louisville. I think they'll play the winner of Stanford/Wake we play the winner of Fordham/UNC. Go Rams!
ha damn that stream on BTN+ was free I just assumed it was a pay stream. I guess it's just as well I ended up listening to the back half on the radio because I was just pacing the room anyways
Friday = Stanford vs Akron and UNC vs IU with the winners meeting on Sunday we're the top seed remaining
i will actually be watching i watched a few games this year and watched the quarterfinal and holy fuck college soccer is terrible
Yeah the skill in college soccer isn't equal to what you see in basketball/football or even baseball or hockey but it's still more enjoyable than the fucking MLS imo. Should be an interesting matchup since IU boosts the best D in the country and UNC the 2nd best scoring offense.
In Phoenix for work and staying in Glendale, prob gonna venture over to Westgate to snag a little ESPNU
So glad we are back to being what we should be in soccer, we weren't very good (for us) when I was there despite making the tourney every year, obviously
We determined at one point that most of us were 2010 grads. our graduating class got really screwed when it came to sports. 3 awful years of basketball, Hoeppner died-RIP, soccer was down, and baseball wasn't that good yet.
August 2005 through August 2010 Got to see baseball play in the 2009 Louisville Regional (vs Vandy and Sonny Gray unfortunately). But yeah, Hoeppner died. Bill Lynch got the job and allowed Wiscy to score 81. Mike Davis fired. Sampson hired. Dakich takes over. AD Greenspan and President Herbert fired. Crean's first two years were my last two. Yikes. At least I got to see Obama talk in spring 2008 But life is better now
lived in Wright Harney, directly above the Wright food court and right near the alley between Teter/Wright fucking loved my dorm floor and location so much
Had family down in Bloomington so I stayed with them instead of a dorm. They lived out by the mall, sort of. Can’t remember what forms I had to sign to get out of the dorm. Kind of regret it, kind of don’t.
I was on a coed floor. It was amazing until too many bridges were burned. I spent the last 3 months of freshman year avoiding the girls' side and fending them off when they drank
Teter, main building directly across the alley from the Wright food court. Central neighborhood (but not Eigenmann) for life.
man need our offense to show something in the second half. Way too much being asked of the defense so far
Offense missed the few opportunities they had... 2 huge breaks on counter attacks squandered by a shitty pass and ball hogging.
Da fuq kind of shot was that, Toye? Edited after end of 1st part of OT: I hate PKs, but who has the edge? Edit 2: FUCKING FUCK
Also, I really don't ever remember hearing the standard "Let's go Hoosiers" chant at IU, but have heard it this whole game. Did something happen to the "Hoo hoo hoo Hoosiers" chant?
De'Ron Davis out indefinitely with a leg injury. That does not sound good Freshman superstar Mason Toye leaving the soccer program for MLS http://www.idsnews.com/article/2018/01/sp-iums-toye-1-5-18
now 4-2 in B1G play after a 20-point win over Northwestern Juwan Morgan has been incredible lately. He is such a good example of the kind of players Archie wants RoJo with his first good 3-pt shooting performance in about a month how fucking awesome is it to watch an IU team play and not turn it over like crazy? I don't think we've had more than 13 turnovers in a B1G game
need to get past Michigan but we have really established ourselves as one of the top 10 women's swimming/diving programs in the nation. Not sure what kind of money folks contribute to IU but if you donate to athletics you might want to consider earmarking it for the swimming/diving programs. "IU has placed first or second at the Big Ten Championships in each of the last 10 years, winning the title three-straight times from 2009 to 2011. The Hoosiers have finished second the last seven seasons Lilly King continued her unprecedented run in the breaststroke on Saturday night, winning the 200 breaststroke for the third-straight season with a NCAA A cut and McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion pool record time of 2:04.68. King's time is the fourth-best mark in school history and ranks as the top-time in the nation this season. With her win on Saturday night, King becomes the first woman in Big Ten history to sweep both the 100 and 200 breast three-straight years. In three seasons, King has won 12 Big Ten titles – seven individual and five on relays."
