Thread started in January. When I started lurking it was during Hurricane Harvey because I was bored stuck at home. That was page 7 or 8 at the end of August/early September. We’re on page 46 now 3 months later.

Ripple has been down for me all day on Bittrex. Message says: "Wallet Disabled - performing routine maintenance" and I can't buy (duh) or sell (lol) any. Ugh.
Can anybody estimate the fees to go the USD>LTC>BTC>Ripple route? I’d like to buy like $100 worth just so I can have a piece, but not sure if the fees would eat too much of that?
as of a few hours ago the price for ltc on coinbase was a lot higher than other exchanges, so take that into account. as far as the fees/how to actually buy ripple, i am interested as well.

Locked out of my Coinbase account FML. Went to change my CB password on my laptop (always use the app) and had to do the 2 factor verification. Shit says my iPhone isn’t trusted so wait 48hrs or use ID. Tried the ID verification and it’s overloaded or some shit. Fuck me, I was trying to move some LTC to binance to buy xrp
I bought some Bitcoin earlier to transfer over to Binance, but I can’t get it to show up in my bitcoin wallet to try to send it. Not sure what’s going on.
How and where di you buy it? If you bought on coinbase with bank account it could take a few days to actually arrive. It should atleast say pending in the BTC wallet on coinbase
Finally set up a binance account (using Houndster s referral). I clicked on the exchange and decided I'm smart so i should click on the advanced version of the UI. Also, JFC I need to find my LTC that I mined in '13. Feel like i had $7 worth or something, which may actually be something now. HELP COMPUTER
I still stand by that. LTC is up 550% over the last month. If Ripple had the same run it would be close to surpassing ethereum as the second highest market cap behind bitcoin. Nice run today but hit 40 cents in May too and then stuck around 25 cents for the last six months.
Bought it on coinbase with a debit card. It says the transaction is complete and shows the amount available, but when I go to the wallet, it shows 0. And if I try to send it, it says zero.
What’s with the price differences on binance and Coinbase, unless I’m reading it wrong LTC at $354 on Coinbase and $300 on binance. ETH at $663 on Coinbase and $596 on binance. Is it like difference in exchange rates at different banks?
A lot of people are using Binance is buying those two coins on Coinbase and moving them to Binance where they sell them to buy other stuff and not nearly as many people are moving the other way to arbitrage because it’s very cumbersome
So Coinbase will always (as things are now) be higher? But it’s a wash bc you move coins over to binance to trade others then move them back to Coinbase to “cash out”
lets say there is a mass sell off of LTC for people to cash out, it could be lower. each exchange is its own market. Some of the lower volume exchanges can be manipulated very easily if you have gatorfromiowa money
