4th round draw Tottenham vs West Ham Bristol City vs Crystal Palace Swansea vs Manchester United Arsenal vs Norwich Chelsea vs Everton Manchester City vs Wolves Leicester vs Leeds Bournemouth vs Middlesbrough
Still a trophy even if it doesn’t really matter. I only want an easy draw in the league cup early rounds so we can play some of the young guys.
Very true although most of the time it’s partially your fault for finishing second in the group. Last season was just bad luck. Didn’t you guys get both non-league teams back to back in FA cup last year?
Chelsea played Peterborough United (H), Brentford (H) & Wolves (A). how did they survive that gauntlet? at least Arsenal played Southampton away.
a championship team, 2 non-league sides and southhampton a league one side, two championship sides and manchester united which would you rather play?
We've had some cupcakes but 3/4 of our games to get to wembley first fa cup were Liverpool and Everton(year of the Gerrard slip and Everton getting 5th) plus Spurs. Can't get much tougher than that. 2nd year was United away and would have had Liverpool in the final if they could have beaten mighty Aston Villa Last year was City and Chelsea at wembley Might get some tougher runs if Chelsea could beat Bradford at home or City didn't lose to teams like Middlesbrough or Wigan.
so 2nd division and 5th division are the same to you? southampton and manchester united are equal? I am not saying chelsea ran into a gauntlet but your argument is baseless.
to be honest I forgot you guys drew United in the quarters. my only point was Chelsea didn't exactly have a difficult draw prior to that. and Arsenal have had plenty of tough draws in the past like Gunners mentioned. you can't discount all of that because of two non-league sides.
Announcing and quality of production yes. I just like to be able to DVR games like this and fast forward/rewind with ease. Tough to do via stream and not worth jumping through the hoops required to watch game at work unless it’s a big CL/EPL game
the draw was supposed to start at 11 EDT. still hasn't begun. twitter is pretty funny in the meantime.
Anyone catch Bournemouth - Chelsea? Bournemouth scored in extra time to equalize after a complete shit second half from Chelsea... only for Chelsea to score 14 seconds later.
It isn't like Man U played a full back up squad either. Rashford, Martial, Pogba and Ibra started and lukaku off bench
I don't think so, id expect the youth team to play with a few reserves, kind of like our team we threw out against Leicester
