XVG at $15 would mean a market cap of approximately 248 billion, which is about where BTC is right now.
Haha so you saw the tweet where McAfee said $15, huh? I'm 100% positive McAfee just tweets about what coin he's heavily invested in and then it shoots up in value and he laughs all the way to the bank. Not that XVG isn't good or anything, but I don't think he did the math on the $15. Just threw it out there and collected his earnings.
He tweeted about Burst recently and that is a coin I am keeping an eye on. Just shows even a blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then.
Sold my XVG at 130% profit. I plan to get back in soon but I moved it over to ZRX to try to bump it again
top hodls Cur. Change XLM 769.65 % SC 732.66 % XEM 437.14 % XRP 427.01 % ADA 297.26 % NXT 187.85 % SNT 183.76 % XVG 150.06 % DENT 125.75 % Thanks for the good tips, team. *edit* NOTE: I do have 6 hodls that are in the negative
Smaller HODLs: VEN IOTA EOS REQ BAT ADA ARK STRAT LSK NEO LTC Then I have about $100 of several <$100 coins because those seem to be really popular right now and the rest of my money is in ETH to use to buy up stuff for short term gains for technicals
How are the ripple holders playing it right now as it seems to be settling in around the $1 mark? I shifted a decent amount of BTC to XRP while Bitcoin was crashing last week, but after XRP shot up and Bitcoin seems to be stabilizing and on an upward trend I'm thinking it may be a good idea to dump some ripple.
I haven't figured one out yet. Someone linked siapaperwallet or something like that but I've found 0 reviews on it. I may wind up just having the two people I'm giving it to download the siawallet onto their computers at home. I'm not buying them cold storage and I don't want to get suckered into some paper wallet that's a scam.
I’m actually stealing your idea and gifting some ripple to my family. That way we can cruise the Italian coast in our own Bugattis instead of having to double up.
The level of organization needed for hodling 23 shitcoins is testing my patience I'm getting a Ledger Nano S for xmas. Probably still going to be a real pain in the ass.
Yeah man, problem with stops is shitcoin >> ??? >>> USD. That middle ??? could be in its own circle of hell
Yeahhhh so basically when every coin goes down with btc at the same time don’t bother pulling out bc it’s coming back.
Got a question on depth charts. There is a column for price, amount, and total. How come some of the rows have a red bar (or green) that slowly fills up. Is that showing how much of an order is filled?
I wanted to see if someone could do me a favor. I am trying to get verified on Poloniex at the moment but it is taking forever. I would try Bittrex but they have their signups still closed. If someone is a member of either of these exchanges, can you please send 5 Burst Coins to my wallet? I will send them immediately back to your wallet address. Currently the Burst Coins are valued at $0.05, so a nickel each. So I am asking someone to please send me a quarter so I can send it back. I am using an offline wallet, and need to get the account into the transaction log. I would buy the coins myself but again, I don't have access at the moment to an exchange which supports this coin. My wallet address is BURST-6A5U-ZHUZ-9PUM-8M396. Thanks if anyone is willing to do this, just send me your wallet address and I will send the coins right back.
I got you. My return address is BURST-HK9D-P74Q-XDEJ-D6PGM Need to include as Message: 840c98f16bb34375aeb0301dc9f24e7f6881b14bd9044482af197413f0a1851d
how long have you been waiting to get verified? I signed up for Poloniex last night and was verified fairly quickly.
How is Poloniex? I was trying to get onto Bittrex to buy Siacoin but their signups are locked. I saw some less than stellar reviews on Poloniex but I'm not needing it to be my main source, just somewhere to buy coins that aren't on Binance.
You're asking the wrong person haha. I literally just started getting into all this crypto the other day. I only signed up for it for the same reasons you did. So far the only thing I've done is transfer from Coinbase to GDAX to Binance. I saw a couple of the regulars mention Poloniex on here so I went ahead and signed up for it for SC
So, I was an idiot last night, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't bring up my webcam to photo my license, it probably didn't help that I had been day drinking. I finally figured it out today but I thought it would take several days to get the verification as I thought I read that others had taken forever. I sent everything a little bit ago, so now I am just waiting.
So far I have heard good things on Poloniex, I am going to give them a shot as it looks like they have a bunch of the coins I want hosted which aren't on the Binance.
was doing some research on Bitcoin Cash and on paper it seems superior to Bitcoin core (bigger block size reducing fees and increasing confirmation times). But also don't know if it's actually legit until it has comparable transactions per day to the bitcoin. On the fence, but I'm thinking about putting some serious cash into BCH. thoughts by those who are more knowledgable than me?
I have not heard good things on Bitcoin cash and they will have a serious PR issue after the Coinbase incident last week which I think will keep people away from the coin and keep prices lower (even if it is an artificial lowering).
you have done shoddy research more than half of bcc is supposedly in chinese accounts/farms its fees/reduced times are largely a result of lower demand. when demand increases, it'll result in similar problems that bch has now (and bch will fix a lot of that with segwit and lightning). it's the fork created by a corrupt felon in ver. you may make money on it but it's not a coin you'd want to invest in because you believe strongly in its future. at least imo.
I listen to this live stream of a group of people daytrading alts once in a while. You can get the link to their discord if you type !discord in the youtube chat.
the last segwit fork failed. How do you know future forks won't do the same. edit: seems as if segwit implementation is on the network and not a hard fork like the failed segwit2x. god damn this shit is confusing. It seems like segwit adoption is very slow, it's basically up to wallet developers to implement it. Bitcoin Cash solves the issue now.
also looks like a group of devs are giving the segwit2x hard fork another go. Should happen on or around the 28th. http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/12/19/segwit2x-old-new-bitcoin-hard-fork/
