I see Southern Miss at 10.5 at my book. Jesus balls. I'm now considering a big leverage play on So Miss (straight up) in my big money pool. Can gain a game on the field. 5 points of movement in an hour or so. Yeesh.
%s have stayed relatively the same. Edit: Columns are % of tix on side, % of $ on side, % of tix on total, % of $ on total
some dude on OB saying that the line fell after FSU players not playing was announced. anyone heard this?
Foster Farms Bowl **Purdue +3 Another system play. Purdue's defense is no joke. They've struggled on offense against teams with good defenses. Arizona does not have a good defense. I like Purdue to keep pace with Arizona and perhaps win this one outright. Unless Tate goes off...
I think the Purdue ability to stop the run will be the underrated skill here. Also not wild about Arizona away from home. There are lots of teams in the Pac-12 with dramatic home/away splits. Arizona has lost some of its bite away from home.
probably a good opportunity for live betting. i think we will be able to tell very early on if purdue can stop the zone read. if the purdue DEs can't contain, it won't be close.
Re: Arizona our defense better than years past in the sense that they actually get pressure, sacks, and turnovers from time to time. Very much a bend but don’t break philosophy so Purdue will get yards and points. Defense is very young - three true frosh starters and they’re all pretty good, especially LB Schooler. If Purdue’s D can limit our typically good run game Purdue wins. Tate can throw somewhat well but he’s prob not winning this game with his arm, which he’ll need to do if run game limited. Az is 3rd nationally in rushing offense and 110th in passing. I’ve done very little research on this game but am curious to see whether UofA comes out with passion/energy after giving away the ASU game and am curious to see how Purdue’s DL plays and what kind of speed the entire defense has. I see one of two outcomes... AZ wins by a couple scores or Purdue wins close... I’m thinking the latter occurs but don’t take my word as gospel.
Looking into the game the one area I saw where Arizona's defense can (and needs to) find success is pressuring the QB.
This is classic FSU if you've been following them. You can't script more dumb shit in a two minute span. At least we tried to block the punt, Jimbo didn't do that in 10 years....he didn't like returning them either, so
why do i have to be such a degenerate to submit myself to watching this trash. whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
FSU will have a hard time moving the ball if Southern Miss figures out where the line of scrimmage is.
