Just spent $200 on underwear - Ex Officio and Duluth Trading. I actually asked for underwear for Christmas and my loved ones, understandably, didn't think I was serious.

 

Also, while I know they're considered fashionable and you can't even really see the sides due to your pant leg always covering them up, whenever I see Chelsea boots I can't shake the idea in my head that they are shoes for short bus riders.

 

How many pairs

 

4 Duluth trading and 6 Ex Officio. Just enough to get the free shipping, and the Ex officios were 35% off so I got extra of them. I'm assuming they'll both be fine but I wanted to try a couple so I plan on potentially returning one of them. I'll probably buy another 5-6 pairs of whichever I like more.

Want to try the Uniqlo Airism too but their shipping is more expensive and I'd have to buy 10 pairs to get it free, so I'm just going to go to the one in town sometime in the next couple weeks.

 

I got a pair of meundies for Christmas. I don’t hate them, but even after 1 wash they have some slight pilling. The CK’s that are made of the same style mods supposedly don’t do it as bad. I wouldn’t mind having more pairs of these. If only to support Bill Burr.

The problem with a lot of the reddit-suggested boxer briefs is they don't have flys. I just assume anyone who wears them pees with their pants around their ankles like a 3 year old.

It’s a nuisance with the meundies I do admit. The little boy peepee with pants around your ankles is so freeing though.

 

Does anyone know why this is the case?

I’ve finally found underwear I like to wear in my army uniforms but I drink so much water I have to piss every hour and it’s annoying.

 

I'm assuming it's easier/cheaper and the fact that it requires fewer seams probably makes it more comfortable. But it's a dealbreaker for me.

Can’t recommend Tommy John enough. The horizontal fly is money and they really last well.

 

Going to purchase a new SUV soon. Anyone have a 2014 or newer Acura MDX or Infiniti QX60? Have narrowed it down to these two, have driven both but would love to hear from anyone more familiar and experienced with them. TIA

I just bought a 4 pack of Hanes tagless boxer briefs for $11 and man do those things work

 

I have a 2016 RDX and like it a lot.

 

So get a used Land Cruiser.

 

And used Ex Officios

Go to Marshall's or TJ Maxx and check out their Adidas climalite offerings, they usually have a good selection of underwear at a reasonable price. I've gotten some me Undies too, they feel pretty good.

 

All this talk about briefs when its long johns season for the next 4+ months

 

I do under armor hot and cold gear as the seasons change. Really keeps the area from chaffing in the summer.

 

UA boxer jocks are p legit too.

 

Love my Tommy Johns. I have a few pair of the thinner material that has some holes about 6 months in that they are replacing free of charge

What do you think? I've been looking for some decent BT headphones, I hate dicking with the cord on my Sennheisers when I mow/snowblow, etc.

 

Just ordered them from Amazon. Been looking for a decent pair and Amazon just dropped the price from $103 to $79. From what I read you can't beat them at that price.

I use ear buds when it's hot as hell but a morning like today where it was 12 and wind chill was below 0 over ears are clutch.

 

You know what's even more clutch for conditions like that? Buildings... particularly a house.

 

This is some no-name brand, but I bought them a month ago to use while I lift and I love them so far. Super comfortable.

 

12" of snow and 8-10" more to come has to be dealt with. I wish I go into hermit mode but alas life calls.
