Took my nephew to a retro gaming store yesterday. It took me back looking at the old school systems and games I used to play. I believe I’ve had almost every major gaming system since the snes. I’m tempted to buy a N64 again for some of those games. I could get they system, ocarina of time, Majora’s mask, and goldeneye for around $130. Think I might do it.
My brother got me a hacked SNES Classic for Christmas this year. 150 SNES, 90 NES, 90 Genesis and 30 Game Boy games on it. I may never leave the house again.
He bought it off eBay. I just looked and didn’t see the exact one he bought, but there are plenty to choose from. They look to run between $150 - $200 depending on the seller/games added.
Got a copy of EarthBound. One of the worst RPGs I've ever played. I don't understand how people enjoy this game. You need to heal at least twice during every battle and most of your attacks miss. The money to buy food and healing isn't a problem, but you have such limited inventory space, that sometimes you'll have to back track out of an area to buy more items, to just have to clear the whole area again.
Saw this the other day. If it took N64 games I would have bought it. Going to get my N64 today with the Zelda games. Looking forward to playing it while I’m laid up for a month after back surgery.
Can’t call me a liar. This happened over the weekend. Wish there was some type of adaptor to make the graphics not so fuzzy on new model TVs.
Are there any reliable PS1 emulators that are around? I have my old PS1 RPGs laying around that I want to play. Any help would be appreciated.
Was finally able to get my hands on an SNES Classic yesterday, ordered it off Gamestop in case anyone is looking for one as well. I never had one back in the day so they will almost all be new to me. I am excite.
Was finally able to fire up my SNES Classic for the first time tonight, its as joyous as I expected. Looking forward to a weekend of nostalgia.
