The Factom market can sway a few dollars just from 100 FCT moving. If you had 500, you could probably sell 200 and buy back 210, 30 minutes later. Maybe that's partially what the guy who always seems to have 810 bids in is doing.
The factom slack channel is pretty convinced there's a whale on polo who constantly manipulates and suppresses the price

I haven't recommended any ICOS and that will likely never happen. My portfolio is FCT, BTC, BCH (hedge - hope it crashes to 0), XMR, and ETH. I think this portfolio is quite solid and could survive this bubble of speculation popping. My goal isn't really to hit home-runs with all of my holdings, though I do think FCT is a home-run play. I'm mostly concerned about the protection of my assets. It's hard to be patient in this market. I know a guy who owned like 30% of the total supply of Dash at one point when it was like $1-$2, and sold it all before it mooned. Many others have sold XRP before it had it's great mooning. It can seem like hell holding FCT sometimes, but I won't be selling. There's enough signs of what this will be. Just need to be patient.
FYI on the google Authenticator stuff. There is a code you can write down that will enable you to get the access back after a phone change. Think it’s typically displayed when you first enroll in 2FA.

I think it's more based on specific trading patterns (see the 810 for 809.9 trade itt). And I don't think fct is an alt without good movement. I bought quite a bit of this in May around like $15. It hit mid-$80s like a week ago.
