Well she has lost 2 of her last 3 at Bantamweight as well. Her only win being a really average Bethe. Maybe people just need to accept she was a one hit wonder and isn't that good? Who was her 2nd best win against? Beating Pennington in a split decision?
She owns a victory in the most talked about result in UFC history. It's not a surprise she still has lots of fans.
She just doesn't seem to have weight behind her punches. It's kind of weird. I don't know if it's by design to save cardio or she's naturally a light puncher. Cyborg was more technical than her also.
I gotta give Holly credit. She got rocked multiple times and stuck it out. Would've been a different fight if she actually came forward like she did the back half of the 5th round.
My wife just asked me if I stayed up to watch Holm v Cyborg fight. I said yes, she then asked "was it really as close as people on Twitter are saying?". I can't believe people are saying this was a close fight.
I enjoyed him on Rogan too. I love Rogan calling the fights. I hope Comier does it full time when he's done fighting.
cruz dominates the mic to the point where i’m sure rogan and anik could just walk off and no one would notice the last ppv was unbearable
Sounds like this is the last year he will be fighting. He has said he's preparing to walk away after 2018.
Said this after PVZ fought Rose, but Paige isn't the most skilled female fighter, or even close -- but she has to be among the toughest.
Agreed! But in another way it looks great. He got hit by a fucking train, and is walking around and appears to be making progress.
bet that hurt like hell when she was in the triangle and the other girl was pulling that arm to get the sub
Was just coming to post the same thing. Skimmed through UFC 217 today because it was still on my DVR. Do they have anything lined up for Garbrandt or Joanna yet?
Not that I’m aware of but didn’t Garbrandt have surgery on something recently? I could be thinking of another fighter
Dana said on this Sunday's post fight show that Conor wants to fight in September and if that's what happens, he says they'll strip him. Conor likes money too much to retire already and from his IG, he's definitely training.
The way the guy talking says frawnsees Ngannou triggered me. Like why only put an accent on his first name? Not like Francis is French, he’s from Cameroon.
Two men's title matches but honestly I don't know much about either of the challengers. idk if that's my fault for not having time to follow UFC as much recently or if it's just a lack of well known fighters right now. Probably more on me.
DC’s style doesn’t do it for me. Ngannou is terrifying. I might buy it just to watch that monster. I’m sure since I’ve trashed it, it’ll be an all timer
Watch Ngannou’s highlight reel and It should be enough to draw you in...not saying I’m gonna drop $60 but I’ll be sure to watch one way or another.
Volkan is hell of a striker but has had perfect stylistic matchups so far. Think that DC wrestles him to a decision or a late round finish.
Could always watch Rampage and Chael fight on the channel formerly known as Spike Or both Or boxing Or all 3
