Sorry if this was already discussed but I haven't been in the forum in a while, finally getting some time to read.

I subscribed to Kindle Unlimited a few months back, didn't see anything that excited me and forgot about it until a couple days ago. Stumbled back into it and there was some good stuff. All of Hugh Howey's stuff is in there, Handmaid's Tale, etc. Started with Under a Scarlet Sky, about 4 hours in and really enjoying it. The Audible/reading mix is really working for me.

Anyone else an Unlimited subscriber? What have you found that you liked?

I have Kindle Unlimited and I love it.

It gives me the chance to check out books by lesser known authors which sound like I might enjoy. If I don’t, no big deal. I didn’t pay for the book, so I can just return it.

It’s led me to reading a lot of books/series I wouldn’t have otherwise.

Definitely worth $10 a month to me.

I love Kindle Unlimited read probably 4 or 5 books a month on it that I otherwise wouldnt have. If you are into fantasy I suggest checking out Will Wight I have enjoyed the hell out of his The Cradle series

Just finished the Gretel novel. Was alright and an easy read. Somewhat of a horror novel. Had a feeling of a young woman coming to age story, but the 2nd half of the book was pretty good. First half was a little slow. Had some twists I didn’t see coming.

Just finished Dark Illusions. Was a good murder mystery and a very quick read. Getting ready to start Dawn of Wonder (The Wakening Book 1). Anyone read these series? Searched “High Fantasy” and came upon it.

I’m considering this as I finally got a new kindle. Do many books also have audiobooks included with the subscription or only a few?

I love using audible while reading along

There are definitely a good many that have the Audible included. Some of the books have the Audible available for $1.99 extra, or even more than that in some cases. I've been able to find some entertaining books just by searching for ones with the Audible included, so I'm sure you can find something you will like.

Not sure which thread would be best to pose this question but has anyone ever gotten a library card from a city in which they do not live?

Brooklyn library has a ton more E-Books/Audiobooks available than mine (Wake County NC, selection is decent but nothing like Brooklyn) and non-residents can get a card for $50 a year. Seems worth it but was wondering if anyone had any sort of relevant experience?
