i am on season 3 now one of my favorite things is duffy being a psychopath but then quarles comes in and takes it up a notch and just leaves duffy appalled his look of pure fear and bewilderment when quarles does something insane always makes me laugh
loved when he makes duffy come to raylan’s bar right after boyd fixes the election. raylan asks duffy why they’re there and duffy just looks at him exasperated and says he tried to stop him. love how duffy becomes a sympathetic guy of sorts
I've done several rewatches. I can now confidently say that this is my favorite network show of all time.
Couldn’t do it as in you didn’t like it? To each their own. That one will likely never be topped by another network show for me
I made it halfway through the last season and just never finished it. Thought it was just okay but not something I needed to go out of my way to watch.
If you guys like well-crafted villains, have I got news for you. His name is Daryl Crowe Jr. and he’s setting up roots and taking names.
I think i made it to s4. The setting is honestly completely identical to my home county, its pretty weird.
"I believe they disproved that on Mythbusters" is such a good line from Duffy. I swear Google auto correct doesn't work worth a shit right now.
I always appreciated Raylan’s town car. A lesser show would’ve given him a big ass truck or a muscle car.
Duffy is such an awesome character. I think the Crowe’s season is actually underrated. The way they just shit on themselves to fuck everything up is amazing. Danny tripping onto his knife is one of my top 5 moments in the show.
Justified did a great job of leaving open the opportunity for great actors to have expanded roles, but Shelby should've freaked out more when Boyd told him that the ATF and Feds would be investigating the mine explosion/robbery.
Danny was great, Dewey was an American treasure, and Wendy was okay, but Michael Rappapport was a casting misfire.
I’ve come to terms with the character being nothing more than a thug. It works well opposite of all of the thoughtful heels they had. But I think Danny was more menacing and that actor should’ve been the primary villain.
I would give him slightly more credit than just a thug, but only slightly which I thought made it awesome that he was trying to lead his shitbird family to what he thought was some kind of awesome future.
I’m not trying to pick apart one of my favorite shows, I just think that season had a few too many moving parts and they could’ve alleviated some of that by paying down the Crowe clan.
My favorite part about Wynn Duffy is that he loves tennis and refuses to be bothered when it’s on television.
Wade Messer was underrated for his hilarious stupidity/naïveté. Watching he and Dewey interact was a pleasure, albeit a short-lived one.
And apparently James LeGros (Wade Messer AND Roach from Point Break) played Raylan in the made for TV movie Pronto, which also starred motherfucking Columbo!
Come to think of it, Justified is a modern day Columbo. Unlike all these shitty, serial whodunnits, Justified shows you the crime upfront and then how Raylan and his fellow Marshals bring down the criminals.
Season 5 finale, "Worldstar!" Also shortly after followed up by Raylan telling Dewey not to refer to himself in third person and Dewey says "what third person, you mean this guy?" Both top tier moments I've also learned that Amazon only lets you download the shows in the US, so my plan to get cracking on season 6 has been foiled for my long flight home
Same here. One of the most underrated shows in the past 10 years. Mags Bennett May be one of the best tv villains
i was playing the shitty municipal in asheville yesterday. they had a pro/am earlier that day and i saw this
