Kicking off the second half of the season against Leverkusen today. No Hummels or Lewandowski. Wagner will start.
Word is Bayern signed Max Meyer from Schalke, whose contract is up this summer. Free transfer. 22 years old. On the national team.
Bayern ensuring no more Pulisics end up at BVB https://www.fcdallas.com/post/2018/...ounce-landmark-player-development-partnership
Saw another report about max meyer. Uli denies it. BVB President bitching about Bayern raking on free transfers. Must be true. Wonder who leaves besides Vidal?
The part of Max Meyer joining that confuses me, is where does he think he's going to play? Can't imagine he'd be a starter?
Perhaps we’re just taking ownership of him so others can’t poach and we’ll loan him out/keep at Schalke til room opens up (Robben/Ribery retire, Vidal/Thiago move on, etc)
I'll just add that Robben is still fast but only for a half. Ribery has played well but looked old and slow last weekend. I know they're both looking at extensions but can't see them being more than a year.
Ribery should be done after this year but if he’s cool with a 10/90 split with Coman then I’m fine with another year. Robben probably has another year but shouldn’t be getting more than 50% of the minutes.
When Robben has been out it’s been some form of Müller, James, Tolisso at CAM and RM/RW. Throw in Sanches and possible Gnabry and there’s plenty of options.
Bild saying Bayern in advanced talks for Malcolm with an agreement expected this week. Bordeaux asking €60m.
Today's news: Lewandowski and Hummels fought in training. Assume Hummels won based on nationality. Malcom news and Lewa leaving this summer is everywhere. Früchtl extended thru 2020.
To we go straight to Timo Werner or bring in someone else? Given age, who’s more valuable between the two? Very happy about Früchtl, he’s still regarded as a prodigy. Needs as many minutes as possible. Malcom and Coman can be our Robbery for the next 8-10 years.
I say make a run at Dybala, Kane or Morata. They're all going to be stupid expensive and unlikely but it'll set the comp market for Werner. You know Leipzig will want the fucking Danzig region for him.
Report saying Tüchel was offered the manager position and turned it down in hopes that he gets offered Arsenal or PSG. Dodged a bullet there.
International break tallied injuries to Müller and Boateng. Der Klassiker on Saturday. Win secures 6th straight league title.
Mills’s Dorsch turned down extension offer. Is the captain of the Bayern II squad and once dubbed the next Kroos. Midfield spots getting sparse.
Very disappointing. They should’ve loaned him out so he could get quality playing time instead of burying him the fourth division.
