for 18-20 million? No thanks. Rather draft a kid and spend the money elsewhere. A top 3 QB vs a 30 y/o QB with one good season?
Donald and Rosen are going to be gone, and most likely Allen, which is a project anyways. I like Mayfield but not for what it’s going to cost us. We are built to win now, Keenum would have been nice for a year or two.
awesome The Buffalo Bills have had a barren depth chart at defensive tackle, with Kyle Williams a free agent teetering between playing and retiring and Adolphus Washington and Rickey Hatleybeing the only other tackles on the roster. Now it looks like they’re addressing it in a big way - ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the team plans to sign former Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Star Lotulelei to a five year deal when free agency opens on Wednesday. Lotulelei, 28, is coming off his five year rookie deal with the Panthers, where he started 75 games in those five years. He’s not an efficient sack artist, with 11.5 quarterback takedowns during that five year span, but the 6’3” 311 pounder played 59 percent of snaps for the Panthers last season, taking on multiple blockers and freeing up linebackers like Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis. In Buffalo, he’ll be a long term partner for Williams and whichever pass rushing specialist the team adds for the future.
Like the Star pick and yes by us keep moving up, we are not waiting for #12 to get our guy. We are going to continue to trade those up to get him. So fucking excited
If he’s ready I totally if he’s ready, lots or people saying he’s a project. How much of that’s true or not I have no idea...
Really don’t want Allen, I hope we don’t sell the farm to go and get him. I have that feeling it will be like JP losman all over again.
weird how they are consistently giving us a flurry of divisional games to finish the year. First part of the schedule looks tough, loaded up with road games. But cannot judge much this early. Everything about next season depends on who is QB. Prolly gonna go to the Titans or Bears home game. I haven't been in a decade.
well, today is the day. No real tip on who we will take, but I have read a lot of buzz about Allen. Mayfield going #1 would really stir shit up. I assume we either trade down into 4-6. If not, I am sure I'll be a little upset. If available, I want Rosen. Either way, ready to have our new guy and pray he is THE guy.
I mean, every team before 10 passed on Rosen. I wanted him and liked him (mainly due to him being a Jew), but what do I know? #TrustTheProcess
Maybe so, but every team before 10 wasn't picking a QB. I'm pretty shocked Mayfield went ahead of Rosen as well. In any scenario of the QBs being on the board, how you make the decision that he's the guy you trade up for, eludes me. Massive bust. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2018/4/24/17271686/josh-allen-nfl-draft-2018-stats-analysis-comparisons
