Besiktas without their top 3 CBs tomorrow. Bayern left Robben at home and have Lewandowski, Kimmich, Tolisso and Rudy on yellows. I bet it will be an unbelievably second tier lineup.
Who’s everyone pulling for today? I expect Barca but will be rooting for Chelsea because I’d rather play them than Barca
When beating Basel and Porto got 2 of the teams to this point? Man City is clearly one of the best teams in the world, but they are also far and away the best team in that league.
Shame on them for beating the teams they were drawn against! I’m not saying the EPL is back as a European power. But I think having three of the eight quarter finalists is an improvement.
I get that. But people trying to bash the EPL for having one of their teams lose to Juve, one possibly to Barca, and another to Sevilla is weird to me I’m still tying to find out who was claiming EPL was “back”. Most the stuff I saw was just excitement from people that all the teams didn’t fuck up and have only City advance.
It's in response to the ridiculous money being spent by EPL teams and the notion that the TV deal $$$ was going to restore English dominance
So this line of posting was strictly because of the English media? Lol you played yourself, no one takes them seriously.
Honestly, if both Juve and Barca advance over Spurs and Chelsea that's expected. Sevilla over United though?
I mean, it fucking blows that we lost, especially given how well we played over the vast majority of the tie, but gtfo comparing our exit to United’s.
We played like rubbish for ~15 minutes out of 180, but such are the razor thin margins when playing one of the top clubs in the World.
That's a pull back on a clear chance on goal. Of course Messi can dress down the head ref and doesn't get a card but Willian does for time wasting.
