Per Bild: -Arp turned down first Bayern offer. -Bayern has submitted offer for Marco Asensio. How many mids can play at once?
Bayern submitted offer to Köln for Jonas Hector. Right backer would back up David Alaba and is on the national squad. Means Juan Bernat is gone, though he's signed thru next season.
Would think as a backup LB/RB/DM he could see a decent amount of minutes playing a little in each spot as they gave guys a rest
Random post but Fernandinho is having one of the most overlooked amazing seasons this year. Might be their most important player.
I appreciate this a lot. I feel like he is so important and allows the attackers do their thing but doesn’t get talked about unless he hits a long shot. He’s probably my favorite player
How far down the club prestige pecking order will Andre Gomes fall after his inevitable Barca departure? He'll probably just end up going back to Portugal for a while to try and regain some confidence.
Benfica would fit the bill then. They're on top of the table in Portgual at the moment and it is where he started his senior career. If Barca do send him packing, they're going to have to start buying some young midfielders ASAP. All of their stalwarts are on the wrong side of 30. Liverpool must be relieved to have Keita locked in because he is probably someone they'd go after.
He's been linked to Liverpool and will land at a club higher than Benfica imo. Barca already can sign Arthur for next January. I'm sure they'll add at least another.
What people are saying about him is that the pressure has weighed on him too heavily and it's destroyed his confidence. I just don't think going to Liverpool directly after this season would be smart for him. Liverpool will be legit title contenders next year and even Stevie G couldn't cope with that pressure. Do you think he would be a regular starter for them? They aren't stacked like they are in the front three but they've got a pretty good midfield three which will be better with the addition of Keita and likely lose of Can.
That was a smart decision. Liverpool seemed like an ideal spot for him to take the next step up in his career.
I don't think the Valencia of the last five years can be placed in a certain tier. They've finished with less than 50 points in three times, finished fourth once and are appear like they'll make it back into the CL yet again. Benfica on the other hand have won their league four straight times and made to the knockout and quarterfinal before their laughable performance in this years group stage.
Robbery both getting one year extensions in April. Word is the junior squad striker and stud CB both going to Wolfsburg. Word is transfers but I find that hard to believe. Striker has 30 goals in 33 games and backer is a Mats Hummels clone.
