GoW is one of my favorite series of all time, so I was pretty pumped to see gameplay at this e3 http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/06...e-me-care-about-the-series-for-the-first-time
So how far do you think they can take this series? Discussing this with CUtigers in another thread, they have done/will do -Greek Gods -Norse Gods After that -Egytian Gods (I'd be fucking down, imagine fighting Anubis!) -Roman Gods Any other major mythological gods I'm missing here?
Frame Rate test based on this build. I'm curious though, they got GOW3 remastered to run at 60 FPS, they should be able to get this up to it too.
In a series where you kill gods, traverse across mythological places while killing mythological creatures and escape the underworld three times, you nitpick at that?

New God of War Details Revealed http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/12/08/psx-2017-new-god-of-war-details-revealed
I’m sure there will be some minor connections to the original; however, I’m expecting a fully standalone story, that starts a new trilogy.
What’s the combat supposed to be like? ENB tweeted something wrt the developers being influenced by souls

perfect 10 on IGN, 9 on GameSpot (tho from their recap at the end idk why it wasnt a 10) think ill get this pre-ordered tomorrow so it's downloaded by time I get off work the 20th.... GF is going to see her mom all weekend out of time, so plenty of alone time!!
I don’t think you have to worry about the combat. It’s tactical combat in the mold of souls mixed wit qte’s. It’s a complete overhaul while still keeping a small part of the series charm. The qtes look like the equivalent to finishers from TW3 just a little more over the top.
As someone who loved the old games, this is a lot of changes. Can't argue with those reviews though. Each change does sound good too but it seems like a completely different game.
It is no longer a teenage angst game with tons of gore, rage, and furious button mashing combat now it has aged well with a slower more methodical combat with mature character building and story telling. Just a few more days and I'm pumped to play it.
I like tons of gore and rage though. I also enjoy other types of combat too so I'll be good. Will be hard to think of it as God of War though.
