Jann-Feite Arp to Bayern for €8mil. My previous post ref Bayern letting the junior team striker walk makes sense now.
Just means they didn't meet UEFA's donation, I mean fine. Interesting piece from the article though. "In the coming weeks, PSG plans to ink new sponsorship deals with groups outside Qatar and is in talks to sell players, according to people with knowledge of club affairs." As an Arsenal fan I personally cannot wait to read Rabiot articles all summer.
Apparently Kovac wants that Mascarell cat from Frankfurt to follow him to Bayern. He’s got a €4mil buy back that’ll need to be negotiated with Real Madrid. Just another midfielder to throw on the pile. Robbery both signed extensions for next year with the knowledge that they’ll both be bench players. Rafinha offered a 2 year extension but he wants 3.
Looks like our first order of business is getting Willy Boly in permanently. Diogo Jota purchase goes into effect July 1. Benik Afobe and Alfred N’Diaye want the permanent moves to Wolves so we’ll try to get those pushed through as well. Ruben Vinagre and Leo Bonatini are up in the air. I’d take both permanently. Recruitment has been so damn good this year. We have a truckload of guys coming back from loans next month that we can hopefully move a lot of. With a couple of sales, I think we’re looking at 2 or 3 quality purchases to strengthen our side for the Prem. I wouldn’t risk upsetting the chemistry of this team too much because they’re more than capable of beating more than half the teams in the Prem right now.
The article even said that we can’t keep up with City’s money. It’s almost like we didn’t have €640.55mil in revenue last year.
Since safety is certain now, I'd expect Duprovka to be signed permanently as there's an option in the loan deal. I also wouldn't be surprised if we got Kenedy seeing as he's done really well since joining. Pray to baby jesus we find a competent striker, I'm tired of Gayle
Lukas Mai got his first start yesterday at CB and played so well that the club immediately started extension talks. They were going to let him walk this summer. Might pull out of the de Ligt sweepstakes if he resigns as it’d give us a CB corps of Boateng, Hummels, Süle and him.
Paulinho from Vasco da Gama was sold to Bayern leverkusen for 30 million euros. A little disappointed to see him leave so early but at least he’ll get steady playing time and won’t have an extreme amount of pressure like Vinicius Junior. Really good signing by leverkusen.
Holland has become the new England with young prospects with deemed with "unlimited potential" underwhelming massively. It took Harry Kane to get England out of their funk. Wicket Any chance Justin Kluivert becomes half the player his father was?
I think its quite probable that he will become twice the player his father was. Then again. I think his father is the most overrated player the netherlands has ever produced by a mile.
I'll defer to your judgement because basically all I've seen are his youtube clips and his statistics. He scored 40 goals in 79 appearances for The Netherlands. But Jozy Altidore has scored 41 international goals so they clearly arent the best metric of a player.
he was the striker on the best team weve ever had. If he scored at the same clip as RvN wouldve in the same situation (did you know they were the same age exactly, similarly cocu and vd sar were also born on the same exact day)
Speaking of players racking up huge stats thanks to the talent around him, where on Earth is Daniel Sturridge going to end up? I'm gonna guess a newly promoted team not named Wolves.
Lukas Mai signed to first team. New deal through 2021 and he’s expected to split time with Süle as Boateng’s replacement. Also of note, Boateng probably getting sold.
I’m in love with the fact that he was on the sinking ship of WBA. Let’s hope Millwall goes up and grabs him next.
We’ll sell him for pennies on the dollar at this point, so it’s a pretty decent chance. Loaned him out in favor of a guy who doesn’t deserve to be in the EPL (Solanke) just to get his value up, and he got hurt at WBA anyways...shocking I know
Seen that as well. Last report I saw was that Martial wanted to say, although the source wasn't exactly reliable.
Sounds like Max Meyer's petulance level has reached new heights, he's been suspended from Schalke's team for the rest of the season. Wonder where he'll go.
I’d feel bad for Schalke for their inability to attract or retain players but they accept money from Gazprom so fuck em
Today’s Bayern news: -pulled out of martial talks -agreed to sell Bernat -Boateng more than likely being sold too -focusing on de Light during the window
Boateng to where? He's a top 3 CB in the world when healthy but who's gonna pay for him and why get rid of him when you don't need money. Don't get that.
When healthy........... He’s missed more games to injury than he’s played in for his career. He also turns 30 this year. Some dumbass PL team will pay a stupid transfer fee for him.
Sounds like he'll stay if Mourinho plays him as a central striker. Of course, Rashford wants the same thing. Short of a Lukaku long term injury I don't know why both would stay. A swap involving Martial-Wilian + cash to Man U sounds like a Mourinho move I can get behind
Speaking of Chelsea/ManU, both had inquired about Vidal. Apparently his knee injury is way worse than initially thought and he’s probably not going anywhere.
