I had tried submitting the picture 3 times and nothing was happening. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. It still was giving me the picture request screen so I took a picture of nothing and submitted it. It went to the home screen after that. I'm probably going to get fucked now though for submitting a picture with no stub.
I wonder how the picture thing works. They have to have some sort of AI reading the stubs because it would cost to much to do it manually. Or they don't verify anything and its just a deterrent.
There must be some AI now because my couponing apps apply the receipt credits much faster than they used to.
I sent them a message through the app telling them about the issue. I was shocked that they actually responded pretty quick. An update came out today that seems to have fixed it. They said they got the original pic of my ticket stub too.

You have me beat, I paid $100 for 2 movies. I can't be too mad at MoviePass though, it's really my fault for not using it much. Maybe I will go and see just about every movie out for the next month and then call it a draw.

That's what I'm saying. I saw Infinity War yesterday and it was fine. Everyone knows they are hemorrhaging money. They are playing the long game. A little dip in the stock price doesn't mean it'll die tomorrow.

Hoping to see it during half day on Friday, have been looking forward to it and these reviews help of course. And hoping to get a couple more months out of movie pass, but I’ve been month to month since sometime in the fall so won’t complain if we’re running out of time
Signed up the day they reintroduced unlimited. Really need my cards to show up before they go out of business.
They need 5 million subscribers to survive. That's the golden number. My guess is they need to start signing people up and think this will introduce it to people who have been on the fence. In their current state, MP will survive until the end of summer if not winter. They aren't going to go out of business next week.
I think they should raise the price to at least $20-25. That way if someone only sees one movie, potentially two if they see a matinee, while subscribed, they'll make money while still not breaking our pockets.
Agreed. I had the service back when it was $40 a month and even then it was a steal because I almost always saw more than four movies a month, especially between March-July. And the way big franchises are getting spaced out now, there's hardly a month that doesn't have one or two big releases I want to see. $20-25 a month would be perfect.
I used to pay $25 I think a month and it was fair until they went into ticket ration mode and I canceled.
So this is all new to me but there is a theatre 2 miles from my house that participates in this.. Wife and I easily see a movie or 2 a month, and would go to more with this..Seems like a no brainer to sign up? Am I missing something?
What do you mean ticket ration mode? I've been doing for about 3 years since you started the original thread and I've never had any issues seeing as many movies as I wanted.
Yes it’s a good deal. There’s been some speculation as to its long term viability but sounds like they’re in this for the long haul.
They started to only allow so many tickets per sessions (like 10-4pm, 4pm-8, 8p-) in an area so if other people took them before you could, you couldnt see a movie. It was fucked and I canceled then.
Ahh, yeah, I do remember that. I typically see movies during the week because it's less crowded so I only ever had one issue when I went on a Saturday night.
