I vaguely recall a few specials about both the game developer who'd done something more successful and then the character being voiced by Jack Black and how cool that was supposed to be.
I loved Rage and enjoyed most of the game and really enjoyed the world and Mad Max theme. Excited to see it is now getting a next gen sequel.
As far as games you might want to play right now, I'd highly recommend Laser League. Taco Sa1ad and Space both posted about it in the Xbox One thread, and the game is fun as hell. Reminds me of Rocket League meets Tron sans cars.
There’s a really fantastic game on steam right now called Raft. It’s a Castaway-type survival game with a little Minecraft mixed in. It’s $20 and early access right now, so hopefully more will be added in as it’s only about an 8-hour “story”.
Just played Journey and thought it was amazing, not for everyone but I love games that are unique experiences, and this one certainly qualified.
