The agent enforcing the monogamy is relevant to the discussion of whether or not female sexual agency is causing problems and if removing it (via government action or societal pressure) isn't preferable. Additionally, you ignore the fact that Peterson himself says that his view on the matter is hypocritical but for the betterment of society. That line is enough to imply he is arguing for a stricter enforcement measure than just highlighting archetypal relationships found in popular literature.

He says - quite explicitly - that the solution to this problem is "enforced monogamy." His solution for the sexual rejection of men by women is enforced monogamy. When he gets laughed at it because of the insanity of what he is saying, he dismisses the criticism because it comes from a woman. He even acknowledges his own hypocrisy on the matter but says it's too important anyway. I've held your hand and walked you through it quite clearly. If you still can't see what's laid out clearly in front of you, that's on you.
