no. how long have you been a fan of bayern? bandwagoning another country’s team because you just started liking a pro team from there is dumb as hell. then again, I’m getting over jingoistic showings of national pride so enjoy die mannschafft
Well my great grandfather came to this country from Bavaria and I’ve followed them as long as I can remember. Have pulled for Die Mannschaft my entire life. The USMNT didn’t even make a World Cup until I was in my teens. To switch to them would make me bandwagon, not the other way around.
Let’s get back on track. How you feeling about the draw for Colombia? I’d expect that you win the group then beat runner up from G (England/Panama/Tunisia). Germany looming in the Quarters though
I expect them to win the group, but I’m not sure which team will show up after that. They were frustratingly inconsistent during qualifiers. Some player other than James has to step up
You’re allowed to support whichever team you want. I don’t want to sound like an asshole, I just think it’s weird to support more than one country. I know many first generation Portuguese-Brazilians that don’t care about portugual’s soccer team. It’s because they weren’t born and raised in Portugal. My parents are both Italian descendentes. I don’t care about the Italian soccer team. A lot of these German-American supporters wouldn’t care about the German national team if they were shit imo
They're basically insinuating that Sterling should apologize to victims of gun violence because he has a tattoo of a gun on his leg.
Sanchez at CDM. Zapata at CB with Mina. edit: thought you meant Carlos not davinson. yes, those should be our CBs
I have only watched Colombia a few times, but when I have Mina is more impressive than Sanchez. Would most Colombians prefer Mina to start over Sanchez?
which is ironic considering his play for barcelona. i think most people would prefer both of them to start. zapata's prime is past, and while mina has played great for the national team, sanchez was very in form this year in the PL. those two should be the starters
Not rooting for any team but want a South American champion and the best chance of that happening is Brazil.
Not too sure, I really didn't know most of the Scottish players. I did see someone trip over the ball in the box, all by himself
