The Kolorov shot was knuckling hard. Don't know about the Bale shot. The Bale goal was so weird like he was trying to catch and run with it instead of just getting in front of the ball.
They both had a ton of movement which to me suggests a technique problem. The first one vs RM is only something that happens in FIFA.
I wouldn't mind someone inexpensive wide this year, and go for someone like Bailey or Pulisic next summer
I want whatever Klopp wants. Personally I think Shaqiri for 12 million would be great. He's better than Lallana and Ings who both played on the wings for us. At that price it allows LFC to go big for Fekir and hopefully a goalkeeper.
I don’t want Solanke as our backup striker Unless Origi is coming back, which I thought was a given he’s not, we need somebody better
I know it is the European press, which is always a crap shoot, but I read an article where Salah's reps have "offered him" (or something along those lines) to Barca. Also, I don't know why but I have always liked Shaqiri, especially for 12 million. At this point though, I trust Klopp.
If Klopp thinks he can get more consistency out of Shaqiri then I’m good with getting him for 12, if he is willing to ride the bench and feature in early cup games. This Simon Moses kid seems more exciting.
Liverpool put about 150 mil into their midfield this off season. Upgraded at all 3 positions. Thats amazing.
TAA looked pretty good for England today. Doubt he beats out Trippier for the starting spot but it would be amazing if he did
Not sure what Aulas gained by saying every other day that Lyon wouldn’t do a deal before the World Cup.
If it were up to me in order 1 keeper 2 wide forward 3 cb However when I say keeper I mean top level. I’d rather get a forward and cb than Jack Butland
I was a casual pool fan as a young player but had almost no access to watch games. When we finally got open access, it was Brendan Rogers era. I can't believe we just played in a CL final with a trash midfield and have now completely overhauled it in one window. What an amazing time.
The French stock market closes in 2 hours, so I don’t think there can be anything “official” until then.
Lyon is a publicly traded company in France. They won’t do anything that could impact the stock price during trading hours.
Even getting the payday transfer fee, I’m guessing it would probably be viewed as them being worse next year. That would devalue their stock price and you don’t want to go into the weekend when the market is closed with a down stock. If you can keep it stable going into the weekend, you have time to spin it to your benefit and potentially flood the market with rumors of how they’re using the money to better the club long term, before the market reopens Monday and hopefully grow stock price or keep it solid. That’s at least how I interpret it.
Some companies are owned by one individual or a private group of individuals. Others are owned by the public, and anyone can own a piece. This called a stock market. You can buy one to many shares of a company, and then you own them. This is what Lyon has done.
