Yea it was a relegation clause. West Brom have done this before. 3 years ago Newcastle and a few other clubs offered 20-30 mil for Berahino and they wouldn’t sell. He’s barely played for them since.

Based on how the season ended I think Lovren is a lock alongside VVD. We will see in the midfield. I think it takes time for players to adjust to what Klopp is asking for. FSG is going for it. It will be weird to have league winning aspirations next year and frankly feel like anything other than a title run is a failure but can’t be a big boy if you don’t act like one. I think they also sense a window with Chelsea and Arsenal in chaos, United having all the talent a team can amass but seemingly fractured with Mou at the top, and Spurs not having yet shown they’ll spend to compete for trophies. I think it’s safe to say with the money they are shelling out this summer that they expect a big return on Mo next summer.

I mean he can play wide, but he's mostly central. Most likely would be a Eriksen- understudy or play a little deeper. Squad is kinda up against HG requirements anyway, a few guys are gonna have to go with some more good english blood.
Always thought he was an attacking mid, but whatever. In Poch's system he just needs someone who can run that is moderately decent on the ball. Only reason I wouldn't like it is because he is young and English. Going to definitely pay more than he is worth.
Yea I always thought he was a wide attacker/CAM. Didn’t even mean it in a negative way, just didn’t know he played all over like he apparently does
