No, some plot lines generally carry over from season to season. If I miss stuff from season 2 that carries over to season 3, then some stuff won't make sense in season 3.

Been rewatching. Goodness the Thanksgiving episode is just incredibly well done. Best episode the show has done and while I find other episodes funnier that’s my favorite
