All signs point to Ayton Bagley Doncic JJJ locked in Question is whether we keep him longer than tonight
Getting MPJ would be cool, especially since he and Young are friends, but I’m not gonna hold my breath
Baze has a terrible contract. If they want to get rid of it they are going to have to give up something.
I get that, but why get rid of it if the plan is to tank? Tanking teams should be eating bad contracts for assets, not giving up assets to get rid of them.
This makes it clear they saw Steph in his game. Young did put up Junior year Steph like numbers his freshman year in a tougher conference and seems to have the right mental makeup.
Looks like they're setting up to tank again, but they don't have their pick next year right? Just Cleveland's protected top 10 and Dallas protected top 5?
In today's NBA the more people that can shoot the better. Trae Young should give Ginger Korver many open looks.
https://hoopshype.com/2018/06/12/at...nba-draft-rumors-stephen-curry-klay-thompson/ Article from earlier this month called it, calling it GS Lite. Looks like we're all in on the GS model, let it rip.
Young is a pg and surely the other guy is a 2 or 3. They are supposed to be our Steph and Klay I suppose. Like the huerter pick better than the young one for sure.
Yeah, sounds about right. I was just hoping for more of a front court guy like Jackson if we weren't gonna wind up with Luka. Then maybe stay put for a shooter like Huerter or make a move for Young. Or Luka and a big guy at #19. But I know next to nothing about basketball so grain of salt and all. What exactly happens if the Mavs draft slot is in the Top 5 next year, does that pick get pushed a year until they're out of the protected zone or other compensation?
