PA may have just legalized online poker. I’m very excited since it’s not as easy for me to get to a casino as regular as I used to.
A lot of people get Veteran’s Day off in DC 20-25 is normal for prime hours on the weekend, but I’ve never seen 100+ for both games.
Played in my first tourney in probably at least 6 months. Small $75 deep stack bounty. 66 people we split 5 ways. I do really well short handed and hate chopping and just go along with the table. On a positive note I go to a slot machine and put in $20 and on my third max bet on a $1 machine I won $8,200.
Shoulda just put the rest of your poker winnings in a higher limit slot machine think of how much you'd make.
I ve been playing since I was 10 years old . I guess that is like a lot of years . about the time I smoked my first ready roll or quatri-package . Saw this thred and thought , someone finally gets it .
hah. Good catch. I was thinking small handed because I could barely hold all those hundreds when they handed them to me.
Have a few buddies that made day 2C of the main. Hope someone can make a run and I’ll go rail for them.
I've got 15% of a guy playing today as well. He is still roughly at starting stack so still plenty to start the day.
Yeah, know a couple with starting stacks. 3NolesFan3 favortite Jake from State Farm. And a couple in the 140-160k range
Personal friends for me. I used to buy a ton through 2+2 marketplace but none recently. Will add I did buy some through Stakekings this summer with no success. Nothing for the main via them though. Some of the markup that I saw was ridiculous even for the main event.
Is going from playing cards to betting on other people playing cards one of those TMB gets older things?
I think so. Get older, get jobs that give less flexibility to bracelet hunting in the summer time. Have to use time off to go to Disneyland vs. Vegas now as well.
Did them together back in the glory days. Was a pretty dedicated reg on the low-stakes MTT scene before BF, but there were plenty of opportunities to grab a small chunk of bigger regs in midstakes.
Remember that poster with the inbred looking guy in his avatar who wanted us to fund his bankroll and was dead serious about it?
I don’t think this is true. You need to physically be in PA to play. The sites in states where it’s legal will combine the players. Revenue is shared between states and you get more players.
Just moved to the Tampa area today from Melbourne. I’ve been playing weekly to biweekly. It’s tough with work and 2 kids. Excited to be in this area now with a casino running 24/7, bigger games, and bigger tournaments.
Also, this year has been good. I completely changed my game at the end of February. Started using the poker income app to track everything. Up until about a month ago I was up a little over $6k since I started using the app but having taken some tough beats and made some stupid moves so only up about $2500 now.
Anywhere to play online now? I haven't played since Black Friday. We have card rooms here so I just play there a few times a month. Would love to be able to donk some cash off online.
ACR or Bovada/Ignition... ACR is sketch af though, always getting DDOS attacked. If you’re in FL just play live. Games are certainly softer.
Only played at the Hard Rock? Definitely the most action there compared to the other rooms but options are always nice.
I’ve played at the Hard Rock a couple times. I’ve heard good things about Derby Lane. I’m in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area so I’m figuring HR will be the closest to me.
Not that I’m aware of but I haven’t looked in a while. I know a lot of the pros moved up to Canada to continue playing full time.
5-10-25 NL uncapped, bought in for 5 and doubled through on my first orbit JTs > KK on JT4T3 board, got it in on the turn.
