This isn’t correct.... It’s a 1 year ban (so this upcoming season Europa League) that can be served next year if we don’t win the playoff game this year, there is a semi decent chance that it may be lowered to just a fine if we get new ownership by the time the appeal is heard in a few weeks. They cited uncerntinty with ownership as a main reason for the pubishement.

I don’t know where Roma goes from here but adding Ziyech to this team has made go from thin to unbelievably deep real quick in midfield and attack. Feels like some people have to be on the way out. Florenzi can be the first out the door. SES, Perroti, Under, Dezko, Schick, Ziyech, Pastore, kluivert, Cristante looks a lot better than the team last year that couldn’t score a goal for 2 months
Nah. You don't realize how excited I am about having Pastore in Rome, but you will as the season gets closer.
I think beIN would be fine with just La Liga, Serie A or Ligue 1 but having all 3 plus the Championship just means they hold the rights to a ton of matches that they simply have no way to air
I liked beIN's football coverage for Serie A, La Liga, and Ligue 1. beIN certainly was a hard channel to get and you had to endure a steeper cable bill to do it. That is great news for us cord cutters and I hope La Liga & Ligue 1 come to more mainstream networks with the capability to broadcast some matches at the same time on different channels. The only issues I see with ESPN are with College Game Day and 12pm 3pm college football kickoffs vs 12pm - 3pm higher profile matches.
Bein sucked they would be showing Real Madrid practices and shit and then cut into a Serie A game 15 mins into the game They can EAT A DICK
I have beIN but haven't seen a bunch of Championship matches aired. Only a few. Unfortunately if ESPN does get Serie A, most of it is going to be on that shitty ESPN+. Next year is going to be weird with the Europa and CL on Turner.
I would think ESPN’s main interest would be for ESPN+. But they have those Sunday tv slots available during the season. beIN is just really the Barca, Real, and PSG channel with some other matches scattered throughout. In the end, PSG and beIN are owned by the same people. So no surprise they get priority. But losing Serie A would free up some more room for La Liga and Ligue 1.
Same for me (as is FS2 and Fox Soccer Plus) but there’s a Spectrum app on the XB1 I use that gets them in HD. I don’t understand why but I’m not complaining (that the app gets them)
Yeah for Bundesliga/Champions League matches that get bumped to FS2 or anything on beIN it’s game changing
Milan’s entire summer market has been fucked because of the FFFP. It seems like the ban will be removed but we still are waiting till the end of the month.
The players are out of the loop on what’s happening at Milan. The transition from Li to Elliot is taking time to shape up because board rules. Elliot met with the front Fassone today and the project should be more apparent moving forward. The other issue is the appeal process. It seems like transfers are on hold in both directions because it’s unknown if Europa is in play or not. It seems like it will be a full go but the meeting is later this month. He doesn’t want to leave Italy. But he’s also not going to stay on a team who’s going to be a mid table. He was sold on a huge project and now it’s all in the air. My guess is he stays with Milan as I believe Elliot will spend
How so? If you actually followed the story and the ruling you would know that the biggest issue was about Milan's ownership and the fact Li had an outstanding debt of 30m to be paid. Now that new ownership is in place and the debt has been cleared there are no issues surrounding the club and the ban has been lifted.
can we take a moment to point out what a top tier front office the Elliot Group are putting together...
Serie A TV rights to ESPN with most matches on ESPN+. http://awfulannouncing.com/espn/ita...atch-each-week-featured-on-espn-or-espn2.html
I hate that Bigla is still going to play a significant role on this team... would love an additional midfielder of top quality with more play making skills to finish off this market... maybe another winger because I despise Borini.
