I don’t fault you for it by any means. It’s just insane to me how easy it is for us to overlook Native Americans. Partly because how many natives were wiped out and partly because how many of us, essentially, are entirely unaware of their existence. I get that reservations aren’t commonplace anywhere but the west, but also, reservations alone severely inhibit any day to day interactions. They’re truly out of sight and out of mind despite struggling the most.

Last Week Tonight covered Sinclair Broadcasting which is a heavy right group that buys up local news stations no matter their affiliation to a broadcast network. They send scripts and videos to local stations that they have to run contractually. They are foxnews tier insane. LWT put together a clip showing like 40 stations all reading the same script, all from Sinclair. R tards have gstolen that snippet and are using it as proof that the major networks are in cahoots. You make sense. The clip I saw shared was actually a follow up to what I posted I believe. But it was an out of context amalgamation of clips of people reading a script about fake news basically. Because they all had one of the major “liberal” networks (abc nbc cbs) in the lower right corner idiots seized it as proof that they are all in bed together completely ignoring the Sinclair part. I would add something about the media shift from the late 80s or so to where we are at now. Limbaughism is a part of it, Fox News is a part of it. It's not just that people prefer knee-jerk opinion-based content, it's that there is this weird conspiratorial thought process that guides how they form opinions. This may be too gradual for it to be a major event. For example, I have my own issues with outlets like the New York Times and Washington Post that make me skeptical about their reporting, mainly that they have historically carried water for a type of U.S. foreign policy that I don't agree with. But there is now a significant portion of the country which views outlets that try to do serious news as total bullshit, regardless of how well-sourced or how many verifiable facts a story may have. The rationale for this is that journalists tend to vote for democrats, so any news outlet that doesn't declare itself to be conservative can't be trusted.
Fwiw Eric Holder said he's considering running for president in 2020. This is kind of strange, considering that candidates usually deflect that sort of stuff until the last minute, when they have a change of heart and feel the call to run. As a sort of continuation of what I was talking about above, I can already see talking points like "Eric Holder armed MS-13" in our near future.
