Dairy really jacks up digestion. I do use whey protein still just cuz I'm too poor for the Vega protein.
I feel like the probiotics in Greek yogurt outweighs the dairy factor. It’s a really healthy food to eat If I were cutting out all dairy except cheese I’d think it was kinda silly. It’s sole use is gonna be in breakfast smoothies with fruit, matcha, kale and either coconut/almond milk or oj.
Ueah if your gonna have it early in the morning would be the time to do it. I've noticed much less of a bloated looked without dairy.
Look into how different methods of pasteurization effect you. For example vat pasteurization vs. Ultra-pasteurized products
All recent studies are showing the opposite effect which is why it is fascinating to me. People are reversing their type 2 diabetes on keto etc and are beginning to realize things like meat, butter or fat in general is not reason for their problems
https://www.dietdoctor.com/reversing-type-2-diabetes-1-5-months-keto-fasting So many stories out there like this one. Its all over the internet, I'll have to go and find some of my resources and I can post them. I just think its interesting how things are trending
Fats shouldn’t be demonized. Carbs shouldn’t be demonized. You should eat to your energy level. If you’re carrying around an excess of fat, then you’re eating too much.
But animal products are the only thing that carries cholesterol ( meat, eggs, cheese). If I were debating on a healthier choice vegan vs all-meat I would pick vegan hands down.
All sorts of people out there who have gone from vegan to keto/carnivore , results are very interesting
Studies have also shown a lack of link between dietary cholesterol and blood cholesterol. It’s why egg yolks are becoming okay again.
Or Thor as in Noah syndegaard or Thor as in the legendary Nordic god of thunder, the redbearded and brash son of Odin
Started W30 Round 2 on Monday with the wife & daughter, I’m very pleased with how Kendall has been holding up after 5.5 days
Will she draw us shit pics? No really I hope when my son gets out of his fear of eating new foods I can get him to eat this clean.
From article: During the fourth week I fasted for seven days with water only and worked out every day. I felt more energetic and was able to work out properly and additionally I ran 7.5 km (4.7 miles) on the 5th day. Removed all medications!!! Amazingly, all the aches in my hip and calves disappeared and later on I received the news that the inflammation in my body had been lowered as a consequence of low carb and fasting. Boo MFer! what is the normal fasting schedule generally speaking?
Do you mean intermittent fasting? I follow the 16:8 schedule, fasting from 8pm to Noon, then eating all my meals from Noon to 8pm. I do it Monday through Friday, but generally eat when I want on the weekends.
I’m not sure I could get enough protein with the Vega plant based types. If I do more than 15g of that in a day I am farting every 5 min the entire day. Need to ingest about 60-80g a day of just powder right now to hit my macros
only pooped once (tuesday) since starting W30 on monday. is this normal? did all this cauliflower rice give me AIDS? also accepting any non-standard W30 cauliflower rice recipes. if any ingredients have a specific brand necessary, please list. first week obviously easiest I bet, but pretty easy to just always have some fished thawed and ready to cook or sous chicken breasts ready to reheat. And just mass cooked a few bags of cauliflower rice with seasonings EVOO and then threw in a few hard boiled eggs. Could easily see making C.rice a permanent sub for brown/wild rice in weekly meal prep after I'm done.
No idea on the rice but will chime in on the dung. I too poo far less while not drinking and eating "clean". Can easy go every other day once consistent. Until I am consistent though it will sometimes go three days and I'm definitely not constipated or dehydrated. Average about 175 ounces a day and easily get more fiber in with the vegetables I eat in volume. Also, on Day 9 myself.
Every meal I eat Monday thru Thursday and Friday for lunch is a steamed bag of cauliflower rice, 97/3 turkey meat browned with with Mrs. Dash sodium free taco/fajita/meatloaf seasoning, jalapeños and onions. The seasonings add a little switch up week to week and it’s a great meal. I make all the turkey meat Sunday night and then throw in a steamable bag, then add the reheated meat and stir up with a little hot sauce for each meal.
The Target brand market pantry Italian Vegetable blend steam bag with olive oil and Adobo seasoning is fire emoji.
Sorry guys- poor grammar. I use the Green Giant steamable cauliflower rice (nothing added at all). I don’t know of a steamable reusable bag but I also wouldn’t want to rice my own cauliflower even if I did.
