The okra fries were kind of disgusting. Burnt, charcoal bits off the grill all over em. Pulled pork was fine, but nothing noteworthy. I do see a lot more positive Yelp reviews that have come in recently, so will have to swing by the next time I'm in town ...
Yeah it seemed like there was actually a lot of food/drink spots close to the hotel I booked. And it's a bit closer to the casino, normally I'll stay in Asheville when I'm playing. Driven through the valley plenty of times but haven't stayed over yet ... Can you still catch an Uber from there to downtown Asheville?
Yeah normally I'm just driving Asheville to Cherokee. Will be in Waynesville for 5 nights so gonna try to see some stuff that I normally blow by. I did stop at some random steakhouse in Maggie Valley my last time through that was p good ...

Is there a list of the dog friendly breweries in Asheville? Or is it safe to assume that pretty much all of them are OK with dogs? I always just go to UpCountry Brewing in WAVL cause I'm familiar with it and they're real nice to my pup. Charlotte has started to clamp down a lot on dogs in the tap room ...
