That's the difference between the two sites. Richie will comment (sometimes very cryptically) before anything is concrete. With recruiting being as fluid as it is, I bet it'll burn him more than a few times. Chris chimed in and said what Richie alluded to isn't as bad as it sounded. A good example of why cryptic doomsday comments on a football message board as the lead moderator are probably not a good strategy.
They have some piss poor reporting. They write articles about out of state kids who are national recruits in the 2021 and 2022 class but got an RU offer. We'll never hear about those kids again. Or they post an update that a recruiting target is visiting somewhere and people get upset (as if a kid we're pursuing shouldn't visit anywhere). Then if they mess up something or miss something they throw an excuse into why, "sorry I was at my _____ and forgot."
The news that's "not pretty" is that the staff hasn't been contacting wise. I get that he is rated highly...but if it's our choice, how is it bad news. For fucks sake this site is such trash now. Chris's response to Richie last night was basically "Richie save me lol". This is what we pay for..a site that is painfully and evidently run by 24 yr olds.
I feel like the rivals crew is a bunch of people like us running the site. Basically people that would be given some insider info because they are hired to write for rivals so are given some access, but really have no informats. Skoolie could easy write more informed articles if he wanted too
I might wait until TKR craters and then offer to buy the site for 25 cents on the dollar and then hire professionals to write/run it.
Johnson looks like a nice pick up on the surface, I don't remember his film or if I watched much since his league is so bad. Big body, had 13 P5 offers and we beat out UNC for him. Good job by the staff.
Hoping the guy from the Stanford offer is smart enough to see that they're late to the party, not pushing as hard cause they're in the top lists for numerous top rated rbs, and already have a highly rated rb recruit so he's always gonna be the afterthought of their class.
This Aaron Young situation is pissing me off. Ash and Co. should've closed this kid months ago. We were one of the first schools on him and his brother is on the team. If he ends up at PSU, this falls squarely on Ash for not being able to close him out
Yeah they somewhat remind of a few different teams' uniforms but overall I like the stripes and the block R placement. Definitely better than the generic ones last year and I think they will pop pretty well on TV.

They're telling their recruits everything will be fine. Then again..would they ever tell them otherwise? Also..if we announce the details of our credit card "scandal" right now..even if we threw half our players off the team nobody in the country would give a damn or pay attention to it.
