I’m enjoying the changes. But it has a ton of bugs in it. Especially for our franchise league with player progression
There is a deflection glitch where one WR will have the ball swatted out and a guy running a under route always catches it and normally for a TD. I played a few games where the crowd noise would disappear. Just saw someone post a video where he was on his own 3. Handed the ball off to the rb and somehow his RB glitched 50 yards and ran free for a TD. It’s like they didn’t have the game in beta long enough
I’m currently grinding through MUT gauntlet with about 15 more to go, and I’ve seen the deflection one a couple of times.
I think the game is a big improvement over M18 as far as gameplay. Only issue is that defensive linemen are OP in the run game. I love the passing game though, DB's are much smarter and if you play like an idiot with your QB, you're gonna have a bad time.
A) It was 69 B) You're not trying hard enough then comes with the territory when you draft an oopteeoop offense
I drafted Ameer Abduhllah in both leagues M18 as my RB because user Darrice Bannick fucked me up with him everytime we played in M17. He was not good in M18. You don't run the ball when you don't have a RB. pretty simple. I ran it 130 times and threw 500. 20% of the time is not that crazy
that's cool man. if you wanna act like someone throwing it 10 times and passing it 40 in Madden is crazy or even uncommon in either of these two leagues over the past 5 years that's delusional
If I had to place a bet I would think a large majority of users who play madden would have a pass/run play call percentage slanted to the pass. I would guess that those who are more balanced are also more successful.
i was more successful when I committed to the run rushing 15-20 times. I like running the ball, and had some good RBs.
Run game is probably the biggest improvement. I like the game a lot, they just have to fix some of the bugs that are prevalent.
Popular opinion is the game is much improved over last years version. Like mentioned above lots of bugs and glitches need to be cleaned up but nothing that shouldn’t be addressed in the next few weeks
Yeah, it was definitely worse. I liked playing as Cruise in one instance because I always thought playing a WR and demanding the ball all the time was fun in past games, but the mechanics of route running as a user have definitely had no attention paid to them in 15 years. Overall, way more drama, way less gameplay.
I can't tell what I hated the most. Getting 2 TDs with Cruise only to be cut right after the game, the Texans losing Watson for the season again, having O'brien take a year long leave of absence and be replaced by Bill Cowher, AND trading for Antonio Brown, or scoring TDs on the first two drives with Wade against the Cowboys to give the Texans a 38-31 lead only for the next scene to have the texans down 38-34 and needing a TD to win the game. Oh and every drive stalls if you don't convert 3rd down no matter what the situation.
They have split second reactions IRL. they don't move glitchy or catch balls they weren't even looking at that get deflected horizontally. this isn't tipped passes bouncing up in the air. played mut draft friendly for the first time today. pretty fun mode
