I dont believe it for one second. mind you she also cant write because of her arm.

what points to her making a fake one?

With all the "i wonder what becomes of Kim" talk, like most, I also always figured something tragic will probably happen to her. As in she gets killed in some crossover with his criminal dealings. But it's possible something tragic happens where she doesn't die but Jimmy just royally fucks her over somehow, and she just leaves to start over.

Fast forward to present day Cinnebon Saul....and Kim is the one who serendipitously encounters him and turns him in!

I imagine when the show ends, it will obviously be fast forwarded to Cinnebon Saul time period and whatever is being slowly built up there. So i wonder if Kim will play a part in however the show ends. Or if it will even end with him being caught at all. It would be too boring of an end if it was just him living miserably and paranoid. Something's going to happen.

    just freeform brainstorming here...

They addressed this on the podcast. Gustavo Fring nailed it. She was crying because she saw that Jimmy was becoming emotionless wrt his brother, something that always was important to him. A scary realization for her.

They didnt comment about if the letter was faked by her, but Idk what the point of that would be from a narrative device if that whole scene was to show how Jimmy is becoming emotionally dead.

I don't think Kim has the ability to forge a letter from Chuck and fool Jimmy, nor do I think it is in her character to decide to do it or to think she could even if she wanted to.

Yea that was my main gripe with that theory. You’ve followed kim for over 3 seasons not a single thing i could think of would point to her pulling of a thing like that.

She grabs the letter the same place she put it last episode (she could have put the fake letter there sure but idk) she clearly had a tough time giving it to him and when he doesnt care she completely breaks. That scene makes complete sense without a fake letter. really confusing why people think a fake letter would make any sense for Kim.

The Kim forging the letter theory is almost as dumb as everyone whose convinced themselves that she’s gunna be the victim of some epic tragedy and that that’s Jimmy’s impetus for going full Saul.

The show has been showing us for four seasons her disdain ‘Slippin Jimmy’; after Chucks death and Jimmy’s way of completely absolving himself of all emotion related to it, he seems to be obviously (to her) sliding back down that path.

I think she gives him an ultimatum do things the right way or she leaves, and we all know the choice he ends up making.

I think the flash forward scenes are less about how paranoid he is and how much life sucks on the run, but rather it’s showing him coming to terms with the fact that he chose that life over one with Kim.

Honestly I’m most excited to finally find out who Ignacio is and why Saul was expecting him when Walt and Jesse originally kidnap him.

I agree that Kim won’t necessarily fall victim to some terrible tragedy. I thought the Mesa Verde model scene foreshadowed her possibly taking career opportunities elsewhere with their expansion.

She was fed up with his detachment from the situation and thought the letter would cause a breakdown and she’d see actual human emotion from him. When the letter had no effect and she realized how different he now really is from the mailroom Jimmy she fell in love with she just lost it.

Thats how i see it too.

I agree that its not by any means a sure thing she dies or something along those lines, but i wouldnt rule it out in this universe.

It’s quite parallel to tha Breaking Bad story

You’ve got s sympathetic loser with some very sad circumstances who emerges as a bona fide sociopath

She’s coming to grips with that nature and sees how she’s played a part in his scheming including the death of another human being

Kim is unaware of Saul's role in tipping off the insurance company about Chuck's condition, correct? I think if/when she finds that out that's when she will make her exit. We saw how passionate she was in the scene with Howard and a lot of that comes from Howard seemingly being guilty in triggering Chuck's relapse and her being upset that Howard decided to explain what he thought happened with Chuck to Jimmy. Right now she thinks Jimmy is maybe a little in shock, maybe a little disconnected because of how shitty Chuck was to him. But if/when she finds out it was Jimmy who tipped off the insurance company she'll realize that he's the one who triggered Chuck's relapse and he just doesn't give a shit. If anything he was pleased with the news that the insurance thing is what did Chuck in. He was borderline catatonic in the days following Chuck's death but when Howard dropped that on him he popped up, made some coffee and just moved on.

Mikes big moments have outshined Saul. His episode in the first season is up there with some of the best in breaking bad, Saul hasn’t had that yet. I really enjoy the show, saying mike is the best part isn’t really taking away from saul. I just think Banks is incredible at his character and it always shows.

The judge last episode pretty much explained it for us. Shes trying to rediscover herself as the lawyer she wants to be.

And the drama around her probably didnt make her love lawyers.

Best episode of the season on Monday. So so so so good.

The scene in the office was amazing. The attention to detail was incredible. The same blue suit cases he used in BB was used in BCS.

most comments I have seen made mention that it could go longer than Breaking Bad, but at least the same.

also seems most think the last season, or split season, would be on Cinnabon Gene and the end of the story for Saul.
