I think playing in 50v50 and landing near the circle and pushing into where most of the conflict is helped me get better than anything else I tried doing.
my skill level kind of plateaued for the last 7 months or so...but ive been substantially better lately. it's nice.
If you feel like you've gotten better lately it's probably because they evened the playing field for people who don't build like maniacs.
they just rebuffed starting health on building pieces of all 3 material types. steel and brick are very good now also nerfed the p90 and drum gun
managed to get all the week 5 bp challenges done on my phone at work. productivity is at an all time high
They nerfed the drum gun so hard it animates you shooting but doesn't actually do any damage. Saw a bunch of videos like that on the reddit today.
Yeah, easily the best gun in the game and better than any shotgun at close range they really fuckin destroyed shotguns in this game
I'm on PS4 y'all add me TheDocisN Pretty decent player probably around 85 wins on this account, all modes.
The variance on shotgun shots sometimes still confuses me. Yes, I see the pellets light up in my reticle. I just don't like going from 9 to 114 on shots that I felt were equally on target yesterday at lunch.
This. Along with switching to builder pro. I fought it for a long time but now with playground it’s easy to make the switch and spend 15 minutes practicing your builds to get the hang of it.
All they had to do was limit their range of effectiveness, sometimes it seems like they are too strong from too far away. Up close though was fine. Or at least give them a kick. If they're going to strive for realism with their firearm mechanics then do something to cut back on the nonstop hopping shotgun crap.
I might try it on mobile since I suck at anything but exploring on there. Just got the android version
Just got 2 in a game then 5 in the next! Done. Then ran over to the links after I got the 5 chests and got all 5 greens. Got the last shot off as the storm killed me
That would be amazing, because I like to run full speed and jump off my high ground to someone elses build on the off chance I can one pump them in the head. A back flip after with an emote when I land would be great
You can complete these in 50v50. If your bus path is on the Lazy/Junk side, ez challenges Was able to complete the grenade damage challenge in the same game by queuing 50v50 Speaking of that grenade challenge, yesterday I found that only stickies and gas were counting towards the challenge. Regular grenades weren't working
I’ve been q’n solos and landing at the stone head outside of greasy, looting the chest and rifting to the mountain overlooking shifty and picking off the people fighting for kills down there. Been good for 4-8 kills a drop and I’m really digging the scumbaggery of it all
There was a method to the madness. I wanted to destroy that door to check for bandages inside of the garage. Better to ram it than get out and whack it
Right after you died that once to the burst and got up and left the room he died bc he was just standing and walking backwards slowly while shooting an ar at people above him. And im about tired of him taking good weapons and not even be able to use them.
I'd be okay with gray weapons as long as I can get some ammo. I guarantee hes almost maxed out every game. We'll never know, though, because he dies after us. Never really participates in our battles
I'm finding that the desire to play this game is hitting me less and less. I only play if TrustyPatches or Odin are on. It's just not fun in the current state to me. Take me back to season 3, please.
Ninja should definitely be illegal. 31 kills in squads, lost Tim and Lupo while he was still in single digits. Lost though on a (heavy?) sniper headshot to the last squad.
Tomato Town is now Tomato Temple, also can unlock a new Tomato skin if you own the Tomatohead skin by completing a few challenges.
