It’s really this simple Try to remember the last time you saw United string together three passes in three seconds of time in the final third?
Sorry, Ed Woodward. You dont get to sit there with a puss on your face in the directors box. You're just as much to blame.
Its easy to say Brighton didn’t generate much but simply capitalized on a few shitty chances and we’ll get it sort out at the back But the problem is we. Don’t. Generate. Enough. Goals.
Spot on. The days of winning 1-0 in the EPL are long gone and with that means so to is the only way Mourinho knows how to win. I'm almost happy I'll miss the Spurs match next Monday. They will slaughter us at home unless we improve drastically.
This is the area in which Mourinho has been completely bypassed in the modern game. It’s also difficult to sit back and counter when you don’t have a completely perfect set of players for it. Doing it with this midfield and Mata at RW is comical. Press. Attack. Strike fear in lower level opponents. Showing up at the Amex and parking the bus at an away match is embarrassing.
I'm not at all concerned. The majority of that was world cup duty. Just two matches in the season, he'll come good.
All from Rotoworld: Shaw has a minor foot injury, his status is uncertain for Spurs match. Alexis working hard to get fit for Spurs. Matic & Valencia should be available.
Because he's a god damn champion. Spoiler It's a designer shirt that cost $355. Just a stylish motherfucker.
Tottenham is a fantastic side dont get me wrong, but this is the effort they give after getting son'd by Brighton?
How soon? Worst part is seemed like effort was good in the first half Has Sanchez connected on a single pass this year
This also on Woodward. We all knew we needed another CB and the cunt didn’t pay up. We know smelling plus Jones is shit so that’s on Mou, but we also don’t have anyone trustworthy except Bailly. for fuckssake these players still shouldn’t on the squad anymore. We didn’t do any clearing out of the shit players we have.
I can't tell if I'm still mad at Levy for not selling us Toby or happy that it might have helped put the nail in Jose's coffin. A lot of conflicting emotions right now.
when Mou goes down I'll maintain he wasn't backed. I think that's rather clear. That being said, a lot of his transfer policy, youth management, and style of play have been awful. Either way, sacking him doesn't fix the deeper issues at the club which have only festered with the Glazers
I couldn’t disagree with that more. Y’all’ve spent buckets of money in the past 3 years, not even including getting Alexis for a swap.
I mean he wasn't backed this past summer. Glazers think the squad should be "done" when it's far from it. Mourinho has been digging out of the hole Moyes and LVG put the club in. Blind, Darmian, Fellaini, Mata, Jones, Smalling, Mkhitaryan, Kagawa etc. are not United quality. The Glazers have spent since taking over, nobody's arguing against that. But they only spend sufficient to stay in the top 4. The summers after we don't hit that mark, they invest because that's what protects their investment in the club. But in the summers after we hit top 4, they don't invest to mount a title challenge. The numbers bear this out if you look at it summer by summer. They're perfectly happy staying up in the CL but not challenging City or for UCLs because the title challenges take an order of magnitude more money these days because of the foreign investment at places like PSG and City.
Mou walked out of his post-game presser going on about how he's won PL 3 times and all others have combined for two. Fuck outta here. Your team played like shit and your strategy has been shit. Winning PL 3 times with other clubs doesn't mean a fucking thing.
Didn’t get to watch the game. Time to make a change. A defensive minded couch cannot put out a team giving up 6 goals.
I have no comment on whether Jose has been backed properly or not, but I really wish people would stop using net spend in this debate. Liverpool have outspent United by €100m over those 2 seasons. You guys selling Coutinho for €100m+ doesn't really mean anything.
Utd have spent for the sake of spending the past few years. Pretty clear the board doesn’t agree with mou on what the team needs. Complete opposite of what’s happening at Liverpool currently and that’s coming from someone whos seen both sides of the coin. Mou will be gone once their board knows for sure they can get zidande.
