Dan Leach is crazy, I used to watch Lions games with him in Tallahassee when I was in college because we would be the only two Lions fans there. He was there working on a show before he came back to Michigan. Quite a character, but I don't think I would consider him a reliable source to anything.
Limo driver is screwed either way. When it doesn't happen, Dan Leach is going to cut him off as a potential source and I'm sure that would be devastating. If by 0.5% chance this was somehow true, Dan Leach outed him as a source and he's probably getting fired.
More likely the limo driver provided cover for Ayers to get into town without being overwhelmed by the paparazzi.
Ayers is one of those weird players that PFF always says is awesome but never gets paid big money and seems like the teams he's one have never valued him that much.

Preseason games are stupid, but this team looks trash. Rudock doesn't throw more than 5 yards down field and still looks awful. Defense looks like a complete joke. Spielman is so pissed announcing this game
