Yea that was a big mistake. To me, what's sad is that 10 mil is some unfathomable number to pay as a buyout to a clear cut loser of a HC, that's not a crazy number imo. Our defense isn't even trying. It's one thing to hate on art and the offense but we went from having an ok defense to worse than when flood was here...and ash is a defensive guy. Fucking can't stress how absolutely pathetic it is.

This is why I don't understand waiting another year. If he had even a disappointing year then I would understand giving him one more. But this is catastrophic and there is virtually no chance he recovers from this. You're just wasting everyone's time and putting us in a deeper hole by prolonging the inevitable. Its the same shit with Kyle Flood we knew by year 2 he wasn't the guy but inexplicably waited 4 years before getting rid of him. Ehh I mean to be fair the defense was way better last year. I don't understand the regression on that side of the ball. That's not something anyone could have predicted Our offense has always been a shitshow but I can understand people buying into the art hype since we've never seen him play plus we had Mcnulty back who oversaw the best offense we ever had. But going backwards at every facet of the game is just mind boggling to me.
