I’ll just leave this here In 2015, Rutgers sold 31,168 season tickets In 2016, Rutgers sold 28,478 season tickets In 2017 , Rutgers sold 23,812 season tickets In 2018, Rutgers sold 22,337 season tickets In 2019, Rutgers will sell ??? Season tickets
The crowd at kickoff might have been a few thousand seriously, I have never seen it that small. Granted I did not go to that usf game that saved flood and only really went to games around 2002. I sit next to a guy who is hardcore and goes to every game, road games, etc since the 70s and dude was stunned at the crowd, said he hasn't seen this since shea and def less than that usf game in the winter. I will say that by late 1st it did grow to maybe 12k or so? Students eventually came in decent numbers but at half I can only imagine who stayed, I left at that point.
Holy cow, the Chris Ass meme thread on Rivals is actually quite funny. https://rutgers.forums.rivals.com/threads/chris-ash-meme-contest.152235/
Lol in Ash's world that will mean he switched starting QBs. That's like a New Years Eve party of excitement to him.
This is irrelevant and irrational but It makes me cringe when the old farts on rivals use the word "stain." It just seems forced in order to sound hip they use it way too much and in incorrect contexts
Does anyone want these? They’re on StubHub for super cheap right now and if they don’t sell by tomorrow at noon I will give them away.
I mean, not sure if you guys caught this...true or not it's hilarious "Ash is threatening to quit unless he is given the 2025 extension because he feels his recruiting is being impeded by rumors of his perceived lame duck status. This comes from a source who has access to the inner circle at Old Queens. I am just reporting what I have been told. Believe it or Not."
Yep, was thinking the same thing. New Jersey needs to be a more prominent part of our identity imo. This is a good start. It looks really badass.
So excited for bball season. I’m concerned we are going to struggle without a true point guard on the roster, but I’m trying to stay optimistic that this can work in this era of positionless basketball.
I'm going to say hoops struggles a bit this year (compared to the 1st two years) and people suggest Pikell get canned, which is funny to me. He's fine, team is super young but definitely has something going when you look at it from a macro perspective.
Is Corey Sanders still on the team? I know that basketball can be a much quicker turnaround than football, but people would be crazy to be going after Pikell. The record doesn't reflect much but he took us from 30-40 point blowouts to fighting and hanging close to some pretty good teams in 2 years.
Team looked and played better today. Too many drops and too many over thrown balls imo. If THIS teams shows up next week we might be able to pass off the worst team trophy to Illinois
