I didn't want to make a new thread about this. It might be something to ponder when certain people talk about focusing on "mental health" A guy who was on one of my middle school basketball teams was shot and killed by police a couple of days ago after he barricaded himself and his girlfriend in a hotel room and threatened her with a knife. Apparently he was shot in the head by a police sniper. The news here only sort of vaguely inferred that something might not have been right with him, saying that the police bureau's "Behavioral Health Unit attempted to connect him and his girlfriend to services, but he declined the assistance." Sam Rice was his name. I would be shocked if Sam could have passed a 4th grade reading test when he was still alive.
Could've at least acknowledged it's fucking insane to drive around NYC with a sword just in case a fight breaks out. Those dumbasses think they're the fucking Highlander or something
https://votesaveamerica.com/ballot this has state by state and district voting cheat sheets, goes over the amendments, you can make your choices and then email it to yourself (or family members you hate) as a cheat sheet for election day
FWIW I finally watched the video and i was going to post the pic of the kid but decided against that. If you watched it and see the kid and don’t want to beat the fuck out of this stupid bitch, well fuck you. Kid looks like every innocent 10-12 year old child should look. Jesus fucking Christ I hate what trump has embolden in white people.
Trucks and SUV have higher tariffs and that’s why they have lost more than other car companies. Ford also uses more Chinese goods than any other car company so that’s another major contributing factor in their $1B loss.
Looks like the County is requiring different information on their absentee ballot than what is required by state law. Fucking counties down here can't even properly run an election, what a joke.
GM is doing the same thing. Americans don’t want new sedans any more that’s why they’re doing it Also the article states the two vehicles they’ve halted production on are the Transit and F150 which are uhhhh not cars
I used to work for a company with a bunch of transits and everyone fucking hated them. But those were like 2011 transits
The only people left not driving jacked up trucks with black rims are the coastal elites, and they’re not buying fords anyway.
Tough break for The Revolution! but it’s also not good to have the other soon to be octogenarian as front runner. Joe would need to have one of the top tier younger candidates as VP, preferably female and from the Midwest.
I couldn’t watch the entire video, but gay Puerto Ricans don’t typically make me think “Trump supporters.” Those dudes are assholes and racists, but the tweet seems to assume a lot.
Two different members of my family work for national companies who bought huge fleets of transits only to have them require constant maintenance after like a year or two. Transits are trash.
He already had 5 and the guys love them for driving around a tight campus. So until you you know, have real experience, stfu Eeyore.
Ours have struggled mostly because my company bought the 1.6L model and then decided to strap two story ladder racks to the top which murders the gas mileage and stresses the fuck out of the power train. The guys love the interiors tho especially the overhead shelf thing
Nah, I worked on buying the first bunch when I worked for my dad. Vehicles was one of my things. We got 1 and the dude liked it so we bought four more. I have since left the company but am still really connected. They got a new contract last week for maintenance at ND and bought 8 more plus 2 vans and a pickup. I have firsthand experience. not saying they are fucking Bentley's but for what they are they are great.
This is the dumbest version of this thread. I am out. I'll agree that we both have experience. I dealt daily with my guys and a relatively small fleet, he likely had a much larger fleet. Problems happen.
yeah, much larger numbers. I had 5 and never an issue. Our guys also take/took great care of their stuff because almost all of them are friends with my family outside of work so they are connected to the business.
This is the biggest issue. People treat them like trucks when they’re really a Focus with a bigger box on top. Powertrain isn’t designed to haul big loads around all day.
I mean it literally is for a huge part of the infrastructure but whatever. Really kept the panhandle safe with his help tho
Yeah everyone at my company at the time hated them because they used them to haul around all these weights and equipment and shit. They'd put the pedal down on the highway and top out at 60 while the thing is acting like a sail and catching all the wind
literally, unapologetically evil, but he saves me money on taaaaaaaaaaxessssssss (only on the short term though and that's all my brain can comprehend)
