Tanking is the right play for sure. But with all the anti tanking talk and how everyone hates super teams and not having a 3-4 teams capable of competing got to give them a little credit for trying. But if it's me blow this shit up hard. Hire Hinike
35-47 just miss the playoffs end up with a back 3rd of the lottery pick. They waste it on some euro trash that’ll never amount to shit.
don't we lose our pick if it's not top 10? cynically, i suspect dan is content gunning for the 7/8 seed every year because it's the surest way to maintain sufficient fan support for keeping the franchise profitable. we whiffed horribly on our last tank and were only bailed out because the best player in the world opted to return here.
I am excited. More so than last year. I love the uphill climb moreso than subtweets and lack luster effort.
Watching this team fly is such a welcome sight. Lebron is great but that style of ball isn't as fun as this.
I’m never more greatful for having to have the TV volume low at night while my son is sleeping than Cavs season.
it happened pretty often in '16 and '17. the offense during those postseason runs was pretty much flawless. last year was just a discombobulated mess. bad parts, bad fit would much rather have lebron back, but i won't miss punting on 90% of regular season games because we're resting for the playoffs from mid-november on
We’re all going to like the ones that came this winter because they won’t have the MASSIVE pressure of having to perform for LeBron and will play more free/relaxed. Don’t get me wrong, they’ll still fuck up, but we’ll see a difference for the positive.
The only person I will hate is love. I hate how his rebounds always fall into him and he never gets them cause of how un athletic he is.
I have a feeling we’ll see a good deal of the wheels coming off this season. We really don’t have the type of player who can stop the bleeding.
Realistically the best thing we can hope for is a massive sell-off of everyone not named Sexton, Osman, or Nance.
And win the lotto. But also not beating Raptors or Wolves on the road will convince the team of anything.
totally fine winning 20-25 games and hopefully getting some lottery luck. this team is nowhere near '10-'11 bad, but there's no blue chip talent and as long as that's the case, there's a clearly limited ceiling
