George should have started looking for buyout money the second he heard that quote about him not liking to run up the score.
Hopefully the mutual “split” after the season doesn’t take 8 fucking months like our normal football hires.
My only hope at this point is that we can somehow pull a win or two out and Mac looks attractive to some school that cans their coach. We can then save the $10 million. Will never happen, and I will just be disappointed like I usually am with every aspect of this program, but a guy can dream....
Either going to blow them out or get blown out, no in-between. Don't think HCMM is here next year unless he goes 3-1 down the stretch, but then he likely gets hired away. Don't see RG fucking around and losing more money by retaining him if he goes 7-5 or worse.
That'd be nice and I think both parties are ready to move on from one another. Either way, I don't see him being back in Boulder next year. 5-6 wins, he's obviously gone. 7 wins you can still hope he gets hired away by one of those schools you listed (Kansas would be a good spot honestly, he'd do a good job there IMO) but still easy to fire him after staring 5-0. 8 wins and he gets hired away easily.
I honestly see no way HCMM is here next year. He wants out. CU wants him out. His son is a senior. He gone.
Maybe Mac won't be such a fucking pussy if he's down to his 4th string kicker. JK, we know that won't happen.
Leaving all these points on eve board won’t come back to haunt us or anything. Competent o line and it’s 21-0
Update: he was who we thought he was. Sending your 4th string kicker to kick a 48 yard field goal, down 4 in a game where field goals clearly aren't gonna cut it is special.
Ok it’s time to fire up the coaching search! I’ve been up for 20 straight hours at this point, but Kiffin wouldn’t be the worst idea. We aren’t getting someone who can get an upper echelon power 5 job.
So many fucking moronic hot takes. Saw one where this guy expects Shenault to transfer all so he can sit out a year before leaving for the draft. The fuck?
Probably not. Turf toe injury and apparently are trying to hold off on doing surgery until after the season.
Can't blame Landman. Nothing he could do. Shitty rule. If he doesn't hit him, he falls forward for the first down.
