P easy to take an Uber to the dispensary. There’s one behind Treasure Island. Edible is the way to go, unless you have a room with a patio
We bought edibles, a pen, and some pre rolls when we were there last week. Smoked the pen everywhere without issue and smoked the pre rolls by the parking garage without a problem
Well priced??!! HAHAHAHAHA. More seriously, the steakhouse at Luxor might be your best bet for a more reasonable price range. But it’s still expensive. I would just go to Craftsteak at MGM.
Went to craft steak a few weeks ago, wasn’t a cheap meal for us but they do have cheaper options available
I stayed in the Luxor back in September and ate at that steakhouse. It was pretty good and I think my wife and I got out of there under $150, which included several drinks and appetizer. Would recommend.
I understand. The reality is that any steak place near the Strip or downtown is going to be costly. At the least expensive you’re looking at $50 for the steak and all the sides will add to that. There’s a Red Lobster at Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue that I would consider to be economical.
There is an Outback at Casino Royale. Ellis Island steak special I recommend just ponying up for a good place. Get some cabs down to Fremont and you may find a better deal for a decent meal. Went to Triple George down there a few weeks ago and had a decent steak.
Spent last week at The Cosmopolitan & highly recommend it. Great rooms & views. Ate dinner at Cleaver(Old Ruth Chris location) & it was great. Cleaver is also next door to Tacos & Beer which is my go to spot in Vegas for craft beer options.
i had to be dragged away from their buffet after a rough/ awesome saturday night i pounded at least 10 plates with a nice little puke session around plate 6
Almost got your money’s worth. I stay away from Strip buffets because I eat small meals and the good buffets are pretty expensive.
I've come to the conclusion that these top steak houses separate themselves (for me) through side dishes, soups, drinks, ambience, etc.
Those all count a lot as does service. The top rooms invest a lot of money into ambience and service training. The quality of beef they start with is significant. The spice profiles can make a difference. Some Chefs are just better than others too.

Gonna be in Vegas on business next week Best restaurant on the strip to sit at the bar solo and get a great meal??
There’s literally like 50 places you could go depending on budget, type of food, where you’re at, etc... I don’t mean that in a snarky way at all. Just moreso that you can literally find anything on the strip at nearly any price point. I’m more of a low roller when it comes to food (I try to avoid any restaurant that I’d feel out of place in shorts) and I stay at MGM resorts most of the time (south strip) so I like places like Chin Chin, 9 Fine Irishmen and Tom’s Urban (NYNY). Julian Serrano (Aria) is a little more spendy but good small plates.
You stumped me, as I’ve never eaten at a restaurant bar in Vegas. Virtually all of the great strip resort restaurants have excellent bars. I assume you can order off of the menu at them. At Aria, where I worked, all of them do it and I can recommend them. At some of the stand alone bars in the resorts you can order food too. The food will come from one of the restaurants.
Don’t worry we canceled the free rooms and are paying for Cosmo. MM was much cheaper this year. I have Marriott status so def hoping for a good upgrade
Good decision imo. Does Cosmo have a partnership with Marriott? BTW, what will MM cost at Cosmo in ‘19?
It’s in the Marriott autograph collection which means it basically acts as a Marriott with regard to rewards but it isn’t actually owned by Marriott. $168 a night but of course after taxes and resort fee it comes up to like $240 a night. The other two times we’ve stayed there we’ve been able to get into terrace suites so hoping for that. Would love a wraparound but tonight during MM
Rolling 4 deep this trip vs. 5/6 in past years so curious how much easier everything will be for us. Grabbing a table for dinner, fitting everyone at a craps/BJ table, etc.
Not sure. Most watch party details will come out right before or right after the super bowl. It was at the Chelsea ballroom in 2016 and then 2017/2018 it has been in the Belmont Ballroom. Less arena setting more business conference feel. We’ve done Planet Hollywood watch party the last two years.
