A 4-6 record in the first 10 games of a brand new team is not going to get Luke fired. Not to mention, what better option is there right now? Ty Lue? No.
I agree but Magic dressing down Luke and it getting out to the press shows Luke doesn’t have much time. 3 winnable games this week. Hopefully they take care of business.
poor communication mostly, too many defensive breakdowns where guys are just looking at each other and arguing after a score
Exactly. I atribute it to effort (Lebron and Ingram) but communication is a factor I’m sure. They were decent last year statistically on the defensive side but Zach Lowe and others had some skepticism about that holding up.
Chandler had a nice positive impact. 9 boards off the bench, key plays down the stretch. Need to get Lonzo right. Is it baby blues with the new kid? He just looks a bit lackluster.
Lonzo needs constant PT to stay engaged, Rondo wasn't bad tonight but Lonzo brings so much more to the table defensively. He needs 30 MPG.
The odds of me changing my handle on here to FREE LONZO by the end of the season is a coin flip at this point
Looked really great in the first quarter, and then literally all energy was sucked out of them. Weird. Hopefully means they'll be ramped up for tomorrow.
Yeah LeBron is on my fantasy team, so I'm yelling at the tv on two fronts. If Deandre Jordan can start making free throws, everyone can.
I always laughed when people said while he was at UCLA that Lonzo isn’t a good defender. He’s ridiculous in team defense and has such great length. Then in the NBA if he does get beat by quicker defenders, NBA help side defense is so much better than college. And he’s a great rebounder to boot.
