all of those options just espoused makes it harder on the shorter hitter relative to the longer hitter, it's counterintuitive initially, but it's true. it's also really uninteresting.
Hearing stories about the 2019 Callaway driver having gains over the current stuff like people got when jailbreak came out.
At a practice facility this week for work. They gave me a putter fitting and suggested a new one. I can’t remember putting that well
None Spoiler: Spoiler it was a Toulon Atlanta They suggested something with less toe hang than mine but not face balanced
That's not LFE. That looks a ton like the O-Works I switched to a couple months ago except mine looks to be a slightly smaller mallet and is almost fully face balanced
Ok, need some help from you southern dudes. Live in Michigan and want to plan a warm golf trip somewhere around the end of January. Keep going out west on these trips, but would rather stay in the same time zone. Would ideally like a place that has some good golf and at least some decent bars/restaurants/nightlife. Any suggestions? Right now looking into Reunion Resort in the Orlando area. Dont love it and would probably like a little warmer, but really have no idea. Spoiler doing Secession Invitational again this year in March and need a little warmup
Probably looking for the West Palm beach area. if you want a good night life included. otherwise go play streamsong
I cant wait for him to just try and blast it in and bounces out or he misses the hole completely and puts it 15' by
It depends on the COR, the coefficient of restitution of the flagstick,” he said God i hate him so much
Anyone live around Jacksonville or play some golf there? Heading to play Pablo Creek in a couple weeks, looking to play another 1-2 rounds. I've played TPC Sawgrass before so I was wondering if there were any other good recommendations. I've heard from people that Timuquana is awesome.
Timuquana is the course that I played down there that I would want to play day to day. Worth trying to get on.
Don’t live there, but have some work in the area. Pablo Creek is great, as is Timuquana. Glen Kernan is just up the street from Pablo Creek. Another very exclusive private club but if you are getting on Pablo you can probably get on there as well. I thought it was a great course and overall great experience.
My best score ever is 80. I was +3 today thru 14 holes on a course I had never played. Bogeyed 15. Tripled 16 and all of a sudden got nervous and checked my score. Needed pars on 17/18 for 79. Bogeyed 17, so needed a birdie on 18. Had about a 15 ft birdie putt downhill that ended up six feet past. Didn’t care at that point, missed the comeback putt for 81. Then I counted up my score and realized I did bad math because it was a par 71 and I actually still finished with an 80. I only needed to par the last hole. Fuck.
Yeah, I mean I still tied my best round. It’s shitty of me that I can’t seem to appreciate it due to an arbitrary feeling that a 79 is somehow significantly better than an 80.
Saw a guy on the range this morning with a towel attached to his hip. Not his back. Right on his hip while swinging. Never seen that before. Would drive me nuts
Depends on who the golfer is. But I can’t tell you how much I like getting gift cards for the driving range. Not unique at all. But if the recipient of said gift is a grinder a gift card for the range is fucking perfect.
Had to get my Scotty Cameron reshafted - had my club send it in and to my surprise when I got it back they completely cleaned up the putter head for free. Not the full restoration but I got a putter back in much better shape compared to when I sent it in. Great fucking company. Interested if anyone on here has had them do the full restoration done on a Scotty / how much did that cost ?
