This is why OH and FL no longer matter nearly as much as they once did. Yeah, they'd be nice. But they seem lost. OH even more so than FL.
Costas left arm pulling down is being viewed as an h intentional reaction to the woman reaching from his peripheral as he’s looking at trump? Contact us obviously made. Inadvertent contact I would think doesn’t constitute assault, and he excuses him immediately.
them doctoring a video to accuse acosta of assault because they don’t like his reporting is scary. we live in hell
Says the guy that roots for a soccer team owned by a government that murders and supports the murders of journalists. https://www.khaleejtimes.com/news/government/uae-backs-riyadh-on/-missing-journalist https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018/01/raises-concern-human-rights-uae-180110045834391.html
i could say “says the guy who works for the united states military” and post the numerous war crimes committed by that organization but i am not a deranged person who enjoys decades of trolling on the internet the gofundme offer still stands watson. sorry your soccer team stinks but this is no way to behave
You probably need to pay for your own mental health examination when your bandwagon sports allegiance means so much to you that you would compare the US Military to a government that forcibly disappears individuals who criticize it, exploits migrant workers in modern day slavery and numerous other violations of basic human rights. That type of willful ignorance is what leads to our Trump crisis. It’s a shame you’re not better than that type of faulty logic.
Ohio has been Republican bedrock since the Republican Party was formed. From Reconstruction through the 1920’s, there was a Republican President from Ohio in almost every decade. Those areas of Ohio never stopped being Republican. What has happened in the last 30 years is that Ohio’s formerly solid blue union vote has split. The same thing has happened in outlying areas of Detroit and Pittsburgh. Trump does very well with these voters on trade issues. They are flipping blue to red based on economics—coal, steel, and auto production moving. Nothing that gets done in VA and NC makes any difference if Trump wins Ohio, PA, Michigan, and Wisconsin again. Without the blue labor vote, it is nearly impossible for a Democrat to win those states.
also the optics of it 2 days after the election will be pretty confusing to the general public its clear what trump is doing with the sessions force out but as of now nothing has happened to mueller. it seems forced/rushed
Only a few data points, but it seems Ohio is a bit different these days from its neighbors. The neighbors went back to normal.
Stuff like this doesn’t bother me. It’s a shame you don’t realize how bad this look is when you’re trying to trivialize human rights abuses with sports jokes. Explains why you and prerecordedlive spent your formative years as republicans.
You can make childish insults if you like but we both know deep down how meaningless and uneventual your life truly is when you care more about sports than human rights.
All bark, no bite just like a lot of the other press (and the supposed GOP officials that were going to serve as a check on Trump)
Also Im sure it's been said, but I just heard a comment about Pence having to swear in Rashide Tliab and Ilhan Omar on a Koran. That never occurred to me and that's fantastic.
It’s amazing how selfish she was to stay on instead of retiring under Obama. That and banking on Hillary to win will screw us over for 30 years.
Real question long term, is there a civil war coming? I feel very uncomfortable right now It feels like Trumps supporters have gone insane and will support anything he does or says Even if he steps down after 8 I imagine that he will try to run a puppet or relative next
I agree tha labor vote is weakening away from Democrats in those states, but those states barely went for Trump in 2016 and outside of OH swung back to Dems pretty heavily. PA Gov and Sen were +13% and +17% and the Congressional vote by 10%. MI Gov and Sen were +9% and +6% and the Congressional vote by 7%. WI Gov and Sen were +1% and +11% and the Congressional vote by 8%. Ohio is really an outlier in comparison to those states at this point as it is becoming solid R with Republicans winning the Congressional vote +5.5%. Do believe that WI is trending more towards OH, but other states like N.C. and AZ are trending the other direction. I also don’t think tariffs are a great strategy. They have opposite reactions that you see with the current tariffs that could be magnified in a weaker economy in 2 years that could easily hurt him more in other areas way more than they help him in those 3 states. Not sure there is really any evidence the steel tariffs helped Trump at all in PA where the shift away from him was more dramatic.
RE: her retiring; I think she, like many people, just had too much faith that America wouldn’t elect a jackass
