My girlfriend is from a shithole small town around here and I can confirm. Her entire family is full of the dumbest mutherfuckers ever. I hid the remote under the sink last thanksgiving because fox news was blaring over the meal.
It would be helpful to know if the sources for this are just Trump's lawyers because they have been saying this for 8 months.
Hopefully you parental locked Fox News before hiding the remote and set the password to the year that they believe America was “great”
Boy, I wish had their confidence... Hopefully they know something I don't(like most of the votes are from the 7th/9th congressional districts) and are not just bloviating in public
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: Step 1: take remote and set parent lock Step 2: block Fox News Step 3: walk away and/or hide the remote Do this everywhere you can, public or private. Sure the account holder can call and have it reset, but at least make them work. And hopefully ask “Why?”
This is definitely happening this year. good call. The hilarious thing about last year was her sister thought her newborn, who had just learned to crawl, picked up the remote, crawled upstairs, hid the remote, and snuck back to dinner. She was convinced that her child was some kind of advanced genius for being able to do that
It was so fucking depressing watching her win. Her only positions/ads were "I stand with Trump" and "build that wall/immigrants are scary".
Those being D +20, essentially what happened today, was not expected though. If the other 180k of that bucket is similar at all, then we can get hopeful for real
I'm convinced she won because her ad with Darrell Waltrip and her in the stock car energized the NASCAR crowd in a "she's one of us" manner. That and the R beside her name.
Can someone lmk where “hundreds of thousands” came from or has it been known this quantity was left uncounted this entire time?
It's been known that there were somewhere around 600K votes left to be counted after Tuesday, the breakdown was something like 475k in Maricopa, 80k in Pima(Tucson area, strong Dem area) and the rest assorted amongst the rurals, mostly in Pinal County(heavy McSally territory). The first "bucket", was around 280k 'late' early ballots in Maricopa that were expected to favor Sinema(though not at the 60-40 level from today). The other 200k are same day turn ins, which are expected to favor McSally(was something like R+8-10 on election day).
Once the republicans got their counties in they declared victory and slow rolled the rest of the uncounted votes.
Holding out hopes for this. One of the more surprising and/or disappointing results in a night where it was all mostly good on the house side....thought Walters was going down for sure and I wanted Dems to make bigger inroads in those South of LA districts. Same with Cisneros in 39. Also worth watching Denham in 10 in northern california. Rouda and Levin increasing their margins too.
