We had a delay due to changing agencies. We're in the matching stage but could get a call from them if a child is left at a hospital.
Sitting at the bar at Mike’s by myself in Bama gear. Random dude starts chatting me up - it’s Mike. Fucking love this place.
Okay handsome men of Chattanooga, need your help in spreading the word and getting my place rented out. I don’t have a MySpaceBook or Friendster account, so if you do please share this posting. Have your wives post it too. https://chattanooga.craigslist.org/apa/6730130067.html I’ll update that CL posting next week with a walk-through YouTube video, but I really need to get some traction on rental interest with the quickness and fill these units. Thanks fellas.
We are here now. Been here since about 7:15. She started having consistent and pretty intense contractions about 3 this afternoon. Called the doc and he said go on. Just gave her the epidural and broke her water. Now trying to get some rest for a little bit.
Best of luck. We went in this past Saturday to get induced and we left on Tuesday morning because she had strep and had to get antibiotics. He came a little early. Did she get induced after you came in or just playing the waiting game? Get as much sleep as you can. Those first 48 hours are exhausting. Hoping for the best!
Yeah our date was 11/9 but the wife has slightly high blood pressure. He was about 2 weeks early but it ended up being a blessing. They had to use forceps to get him out. Seeing those used will really trip you out. And the blood. Lots and lots of blood. But it’s literally the coolest thing I’ve ever seen and I’ve never been more excited, terrified, and blessed in a moment in my life. The wife was at 1.5cm when she got induced and then after about 7 hours she was only 3ish even after they had been ramping pitocin all afternoon. I was getting ready for a long night and our OB came in and checked again and she was 10cm. It goes from 5-10 really quickly. Hopefully she is able to get there somewhat quick and that pushing for her goes well. If she’s having trouble using stirrups and the bed hand holds to push, have the nurse explain and help her try tug of war with you. It really helped my wife concentrate and keep her breaths measured and pushing from 1 to 10. You should also definitely cut the cord if offered the chance.
Came at 2:40. 7 lbs 9 oz. Everyone good. She went from around 3-4cm to 10 in about 2 hrs. Pretty incredible.
Owsley Heaven & Ale has got great variety and some really potent stuff. Where all else did you go besides Heaven & Ale and Mike's?
I’m back in the great city of Chattanooga tomorrow. What’s your favorite place to watch a college football game?
In route to Chattanooga from Atlanta to see Dawes at the Signal tonight. Need a spot to grab some food/drinks and watch a little football beforehand. Gonna be solo if that affects any recs.
I dated a vegan for awhile once and Sluggos wasn’t her favorite stuff. I personally can only have so much quinoa, but they had pretty good food.
Damn I forgot about Dawes tonight. Saw them last time they were in town at revelry room and it was one of of the best shows I'd ever seen in Chattanooga. Didn't care for latest album though. I'll have to check out Pizza Bros. Drove past it the other day and mentioned it but didn't go. Anyone been to new brewery by Finley - naked river?
not yet, friends brewery Wander Linger opens Thursday though, yall should give it a try, will be next to the Moxy on King/market
Yeah. That spot on 153 sucks getting in and out of. I’ll go next door and grab a papa Murphy’s cinnamon spinwheel for dessert to bake at the house. The people working there are always like 20 year old girls blaring EDM music. It’s a little bizarre. That shopping center also has a Seen on TV! exclusive store and a Little Debbies shop haha. One stop shop!
I'm looking forward to this. The boyfriend of one of my coworkers is one of the owners I believe (his name is Cory if you happen to know him). Parkway Pourhouse had one of their beers on tap recently and it was pretty damn good; think it was an Oktoberfest of some sort.
Good friend and client of mine owns the bldg Wanderlinger is in. I will be curious how they do. Not sure how these some of these brewpubs make it.
I wonder about the brewpubs and coffee shops. I work downtown and there's like a dozen within walking distance and can't believe they're all still open.
Anyone ITT do any off-roading? Have to check on the duplex Saturday, may make a weekend out of it and do some wheeling/camping. Looking at a couple trails south of Chattanooga, would love to meet up.
I had the Alt this weekend at taphouse in St Elmo and it was great. I had IPA at the market a few weeks ago and wasn't big fan of that but look forward to checking out the new space. Going to Naked River tomorrow night and will report back.
