Friend of ours brought a J...dumb of us not to exit the festival grounds but we wanted a quick smoke About 3 minutes into passing it around , two big burly cops walked in our direction. Friend hid it, but cop got in all three of our faces and started sniffing. Got my friend to confess and kicked us out told us not to come back. I felt sorry for the other friend, he just arrived 15 minutes beforehand We told rest of our group to stay and went New braunsfels bar hopping using "bar hopping" loosely
ACL has a surprise ticket sale going right now. Free shipping and get a free credential lineup lanyard. If anyone buys early here.
Gonna be hanging out with my cute as fuck 2yo nephew. If I brought him to Rainey with me, the honeys wouldn’t even know y’all existed.
Planning on takin Baxter out on the town during the day. Gonna be w the lady friend so we’ll be around somewhere HMU Got on that super early bird weekend 1 ticket for ACL. Why not. Also hoooooo boy STS9 2-night show at ACL Live 4/12-4/13 got tix for both and gonna have a 15 deep crew at least for Saturday night. They really do put on one of the best shows out there regardless of if you really love that style of music. Highly recommend for $32. Waller Creek conservacy was pretty cool. Wish it had more stuff but size kinda limits what they can do. Saw a cool model for Waterloo Park going in that same area. Gonna have a big outdoor amphitheater with a huge slanted lawn for seating kinda like a reverse long center lawn setup. Set to open in 2020 willing to bet that translates into “SXSW 2020” for their grand opening show. Picture lighting sucks
ghostland was pretty cool at bevo blvd. definitely could tell some country folks were out of their element and confused
bevo blvd got it like that? ill have to hit that up nxt year hottest bartender i know used to work there, shes at the dt one now. legit PAWG
Watching this show about Stevie Ray on AXS, and damn I really wish I was alive and living here in the early/mid 70's Austin really seems to have been awesome then
I was talking to a guy who moved here in ‘83 and he said the population was about 200-250k and where he lived in Jollyville area was all dirt roads and next to nothing around.
Austin FC gear available on fanatics. Logo is pretty cool. Kop’d the grey T just bc it’s a good lookin T-shirt Some damn good shows going on in town these days. Been at ACL Live twice in the past week and going back on the 20th for moon Taxi + Shakey graves. Pretty pumped ab John Butler Trio at Paramount tonight and if any of you northies aren’t doin shit tomorrow night come grab a beer at Oscar Blues. Got an Allman Bros tribute band playing for a beer release party from 6-8. Also got 4 comp tix to cap city comedy holiday party on Tuesday. Funny as hell the last 2 years. Basically just 5 hilarious people playing dirty Santa and roasting one another
Doing out company party at trail of lights next Saturday. Knowing our luck it’ll be mid 30s and raining.
Childers killed it at Gruene Hall last night. $20 face value tickets going for $200 on the secondary market. This link should take you to the Pre-Sale for Subbs (4.6.19): https://stubbs.frontgatetickets.com...562173&goal=0_30b4cdeaa0-79f5dd2c97-138562173 Passcode: LADYMAY
anyone have a recommendation for places to do a glamping weekend with a lady friend. semi-celebratory. would prefer private bath for and some type of water view if possible also what's the preferred place for normal camping within ~2 hours of Austin? more of a friday-sunday or maybe just drive out early saturday morning and leave sunday afternoon. Can be primitive or have a water hookup. again preferably somewhere you could camp on a shoreline. we have a yurt and a nice regular tent and all the supplies if it was primitive. Football season over = Camping season
