Apparently this kid blew up at the recent U17 tournament in England. Team got 2nd. Scally had the run into the box and the cross on the first goal. He, Bello, and Yow the standouts.
Here's all the goals. 1-3 v. England, 3-2 comeback win v. Brazil, 2-1 win v. Russia. 2001's after Konrad seemed like it fell off pretty hard compared to the 2000's, but 2002 looks massive already with Bello, Scally, Busio, Reyna, Dunning, and Yow.

He’s a guy that can give the final pass, can score a goal, can make the goal on his own with a pass, can make a goal on his own with his own dribble or what have you. I really think the sky’s the limit. The kid just has great qualities.”
I think this is a good move. Let the teams like RBNJ, Philly, SKC, FCD, etc that have great academy’s take all the talent and make those in the bottom of the league improve theirs. Better for everyone but the NYC, PTFC, HOU, SJ, etc who have subpar academies.

Always pisses me off the way these tournaments get officiated. No matter how bad a challenge is, they will not give cautions for the first few bad ones, so teams always get away with a few at the beginning, and that sets the tone for a gross and reckless game. So basically, just like with the mens teams.
Dest, Richards, and Soto added to the U20s. Play Costa Rica on Friday https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/20...e-roster-changes-at-concacaf-u20-championship
Beat Honduras 1-0 and play Mexico in the finals. It was 2 groups of 3 with the top 2 qualifying for the WC; the winners playing in the final. Honduras and Costa rica tied, then we beat cr 4-0. Honduras knew as long as they didn't lose by 4 they were going to poland, so they let McKenzie and richards pass the ball back and forth for 40 minutes after they went down 1-0. lol sucks to suck Ticos
Dos a Cero. Back-to-Back CONCACAF U20 Champs. And did that without Adams, Sargent, Amon, Weah, Durkin, and Carleton. Mexico had their "A" team, including Diego Lainez.
Was Efra playing for Mex? Hopefully he sees his buddy Mendez tearing it up and jumps to Germany with him to get out of that awful Galaxy system.
