it was a surprise because the signing period was November 14-21. That came and went and then next thing you know the IU hoops Twitter account is publicizing his signing after Thanksgiving he had said a few weeks prior that he was planning on signing in the spring. So it was a surprise in that sense, even if IU was the favorite the whole time I really respect the low key signing
